I WANT THAT ASS!

JUST SOME VALENTINE'S DAY THOUGHTS...
What better than Victoria's Secret to illustrate?

I want that ass!

I'm sure that this ass belongs to a 100lb. 17 year old, but I still want it! LOL. Hmmm..I wonder if I up my daily mileage to 7 miles a day, zero carbs, and upped the pilates...if I'd get close?

MMMMM I do want this little "Kiss Me" Set

Oh...and when did VS start selling Peek-a-boo little panties. Yummy!

Ok, so you can tell I'm in gift mode. I love Valentine's Day. Here are a few do's and Don'ts for your day

  • Do write a love note to your love.
  • Do spoon and touch, leading up to the V day.
  • Do put rose petals on your bed that night for a little surprise.
  • Do get a romantic movie like, The Notebook, if you're staying in for the night.
  • Do light little tea lights around the living room for some yumminess.
  • Do figure out something special for a little momento. (picture of you with a romantic note.)
  • Do use red and pink tissue paper with cute ribbon for wrapping gifts.
  • Do buy a bigger size if you're a man. You never want something tooo small. Snip the size out if you don't want her to know. :)
  • Do get some wonderful smelling lotion and rub her back or his back. Simple yet romantic.
  • Don't make a seafood dish and drink a diet coke at the same time....food poisoning for sure. (yes..been there done that.)
  • Don't go and get grocery store flowers and just give them to her/him. Pull them out of the wrapper if you must and put in a little vase...or sprinkle petals on the bed.
  • Don't just buy and do. Put your heart into it. More sentiment is always better than crap.
  • Don't give a coupon with a promised BJ if that's not want you really want. LOL. How about a promised "Three Position Thursday" or "Wet and Wild Wednesday." (Just and idea)

FINALLY...

  • DIAMONDS are always a good idea! :)

XOXO

Karma has come to bite me in my ASS!

If you've read my blog for a while you all know that I'm a little crazy about the whole ACCENT thing. Ok, I'm a snob about it. So what?! I totally admit it.

Now, before you go freaking out on me my, little southern sweeties...I'm sure your sweet sexy drawls are fabulous. Seriously. My realtor has the cutest little voice. It's just that I'm a west coast girl. My kids have grown up on the coast. They're not supposed to sound like they're little hillbillies. (once again..no offense. LOL)It's one thing to have a sweet drawl...it's another thing to sound like you don't know the first thing about the English language. So...here I go on my rant. Just know that Darlene...you're a hot sexy mama...I'm sure you sound delicious. :) LOL. I'm more concerned with some of what my daughter is coming home saying.

Hey Mommy...I'm Fixin' to go to bed! (FIXIN'!)

Y'all need to come up and see how clean the bonus room is! (Y'all)

My and I...(not with the eye at the end...but like Meh and Ieh.)

Mommy...I love the Titans...the Chargers just suck! (sacrilegious)

So there, a few examples that just bug the crap out of me. I know...I am a snob. However, I'm the book whore, the literature fiend, and the one who would rank my Chaucer class (yes a class only on Chaucer) as one of my top 3 courses in college. Kind of a nerd, I guess (cute though.)

To better understand my total and complete freak-out,let's reflect. My husband received orders to move to Georgia. King's Bay Georgia is deep in the south, as I discovered with a phone call from a potential realtor. His drawl was so thick...I had to listen to his message 3 time! LOL. Finally...I'm going to have to leave DR. Calm!!!!!!!!!! You've never met a cuter Chinese/American psychiatrist with a Nashville twang...ever! Thank Goodness for hot sexy mamma's like Darlene, who has offered up some hot F-me shoes if they fit. :)!!!!!!

Yes..I'm rambling. Thanks for indulging me, yet again.
Love,
Christie

MY BRAIN IS AT IT AGAIN...

I'm sitting here thinking of something good to blog about this morning. Hmmm I've got nadda! I need a jolt of inspiration. My mind is open...come on...zap me now...I'm ready...anything? Ugh..nothing.

I guess I'll have to settle with some random "Christie Thoughts of the Day."
  • I've had about 3 cups of coffee this morning. Yes, I love the taste. I love how my favorite pink mug feels in my hands on a cold morning. It just warms me up.
  • My cell phone is pink, too...yes girly. I really need a new one, though.
  • I just finished Honeymoon, by James Patterson. He's not an author I usually read, but I at the market and needed something to read, without a trip to Barnes & Noble. As I was reading I could tell a man was writing. Somehow, the female was written from a man's point of view. Hmmmm.
  • I also finished, last night during the Super Bowl, Dreaming War, by Gore Vidal. You know I'm not going into politics, but that book is enlightening. Vidal clearly explains how the war was planned before 9/11. Another, must read...if I do say.
  • My sister told me that there is coconut oil that is supossed to speed up the metabolism. Farmers gave it to cows in hopes of bulking them up. Instead, the cows became lean and trim. LOL...Why not? I'm sure I could find it at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's.
  • I thought the Stones sucked last night. I'm amazed at their fabulous reviews this morning. I guess they were fabulous for rockers pushing 70. LOL.
  • I'm all decorated for Valentine's Day.
  • I'm really having a great hair day.
  • TLC is eluding me.
  • Happy Monday....Love you guys.

I'M SORRY SEAHAWKS...! I'M CURSED!

It's official. Never root for the team that I do! I am always wrong!

I'm sorry Seahawks. I'm bad luck. I sooooo wanted you to win, I should have worn black and yellow today. Then for sure Seattle may have had a chance.

Was it me, or did the Rolling Stones just suck? They sooooo did.

I got out before the game for Starbucks. You'd think I told the hubby I was leaving him for a week with the kids. Ok, well I did leave at 4:15 and I guess it was the Pre-game....then the game. LOL...deal with it, is all I can say. That's the beauty of TIVO.

As you can tell, I've got nothing tonight. I will have more tomorrow, I'm sure. I'm getting ready to be married, but single again next week. Soooo...let the fun begin.

Thanks for indulging my sweeties.
Love you all...

My Favorite....

i carry your heart with me
i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart)

i am never without it (anywhere i go you go,

my dear; and whatever is done by

only me is your doing, my darling)

i fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet)

i want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)

and it's you, whatever a moon has always meant

and whatever a sun will always sing, is you.

here is the deepest secret nobody knows

(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud

and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows

higher and higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)

and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

MY BRAIN JUST THINKS TOO MUCH!

Last night was birthday dinner night for my 7 year old baby. I was lucky that I could talk her out of Chuck E Cheese's and we went to chilies. After that it was costs time.(Do you guys remember when costs was Price Club. Maybe that was just for us call Kids.) Regardless..I'm a costs junky. There just weren't any good books there last night. They used to carry SO many more. Not so helpful for the Book Whore in me. Oh and let's see...Did I mention all 3 kids were running the aisles? Ok..Just wanted to make sure you could understand the craziness that followed me.

anyhow...Bedtime was as soon as we arrived home. The food was put away...And yes I was able to breathe for a few minutes. I was tired. I wanted to sleep. After a little jack and diet coke and climbing into bed, it hit me that I was wired. Yap...Wired. Woo.

I'm working on a Cook Book type of creation. It will be something a little different...But have some fabulous recipes, stories...And see where it leads me. That being said...I have no control when the ideas hit me. So, last night..Exhausted...Needing sleep...Emotionally drained...My brain started firing. Ideas were flowing. I was up. Cookbook ideas...And life just flowed from the fingers to the screen. Ok...Maybe a manic moment, but I'd prefer to label it a "Creative Epiphany." LOL..Yeah..Wishful thinking.

Do you want a perfect Super Bowl Dip...I have it. Are you craving "The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie?" I've got you covered. Hammy..Maybe I'll start posting a recipe a day? Whammy. Who knows. I am a great cook. :) Problems with figuring out what to cook and you only have chicken and Vegas? I'm the girl for you.

Coffee Coffee...do your job. Give me strength to get through the day with all the kids home. I'm married, but single for the next few weeks. Cat and Jewl..you so know what I'm talking about. I need some serious TLC.

Love you guys. Thanks for indulging me. You always do...and I cherish you guys.
XOXO

"Christie I Know Why You're Soooooo Fucked Up..!"

Everyone in my family will, freely, admit we're a little nuts. Some more than others...but all are to some degree..nuts.

Now, that being said, most of my illuminating conversations with my mom happen before 7AM (my time...5AM Long Beach time.) She tries her hardest to remember the no calling before 7AM rule. That took years to be fully enforced. If it's a weekend I usually get a reprieve until 8.

Let me give you a little back brief (my term for in a nutshell.) My oldest has had so many kidney surgeries and continually has issues because of infections. My middle princess and I both just got over pnemonia...The boy is just the boy...and now I'm faced another move and self reflection. Those growths on my ovary were not cysts they were solid. All of that hit right after the new year. Soooooo...yes a handful.

Recovering and on day 3 of the Zithromax, my mom called and informed me why my life is so FUCKED up....Yes...."Fucked UP." She is a younger mom and i'm the oldest. She's nuts.

Me..Wow 6:59...you're getting better.

Mom...Christie, I know why you're life is so fucked up.

Me...Well...hi mom. I didn't realize I was so fucked up. Thank God I have coffee dripping.

Mom..Well that's the reason your fucking up your life.

Me...Hmmmm....coffee?

Mom...When you got married you promised God that you'd raise your children Catholic and you're not. That church your going to isn't Catholic and it's the only way to heaven. Now that the Pope might be getting rid of Purgatory...you need to get those kids fixed. (I do go to a Catholic Church..but there are no cadles and my mom doesn't get it...)

Me...Really...

Mom...You promised and you need to fix this.

Me...Well is that why you're so fucked up...because you Converted to being Jewish (and back again) and married Dad...and now have two catholic daughters and one jewish daughter (one sister decided she wants to be jewish.) .....Hmmmm???

Mom...Ok I'm saying a Novena...my prayers are always answered. You need to go to confession.

Me....What are you on?

Mom...Promise me in 30 days you'll have them in all the right classes.

Me...Hellllooooo...the kids are fine...happy...healthy...and all things being said, they'll go to heaven, but I'm not God.

Mom...I'm right just admit it? I'm always right...

Me...Anything else? You have 2 minutes....

Mom...Now that everyone is out of the house did you know that Daddy can walk around in a towel or naked any time he wants tooo?????

And that my friends is my life. My mom is a kook...I'm fucked up (but know i'm not).....and the thought of my parents walking around naked just because....YUCK!!!!! All of that was before my coffee......

And how was your day?

1. Passionate
2. Sexy Intelligent
3. Fantastic Hands
4. Kissable Yummy Lips
5. Funny..Able to just crack up!
6. Sweet and Thoughtful
7. Someone who wants to be with me and wake up every morning...(to great sex!)
8. Creative and Smart. I love someone who's great with words! Loves creating.
Did I mention smart...:) Able to talk about all kinds of different issues.

I tag anyone and everyone! Come on...let us get a glimpse of your ideal lover..:)

Where does time go?

So I'm in Manic Christie mode decluttering things around here. I came across some older Cd's with pictures on them. I pop them in the computer and I'm brought back to my babies. Time just flies tooooo fast. I'm sorry. It just does.

My baby girl is going to be 7 in a few days! My boy is 5! He is going to be in Kindergarten next year. Ugh! My 11 year old..well, you all know how she's making me feel old.

I found myself contemplating my "career." I know I know...what career. I used to be productive and successful before the babies. Then all of a sudden, I became a good mommy. Go figure.

Lots of changes. Moving...kids getting older...self evaluation...constant scale monitoring lol...what's a girl to do. Life just happens.

Finally...I was in bed last night thinking. Do you all have that one moment in your life when things could have changed. That one decision you made. That one moment when if you said yes or no...life would have been completely different? Hmmm...I think too much, huh? It's all the sorting I'm doing. It happens every single time. I sort stuff..and sort my life.
Ok...rambling...I know.

I hate this!

This is driving me crazy! I can't seem to figure my stupid blog out.

Oh...and my vent isn't nearly done..lol!

HOLY CRAP! A Near Miss!

I thought I lost my entire blog! I was pretending that I knew something about code and was trying to put up my old blog. Ummmmm I know nothing! LOL. Sooooooo, I grabbed the first template I could get my hands on and just clicked save.

Yes, I have nothing else exciting going on in my world...so I must obsess about this, I guess.

I'm back to spicing up this blog of mine. I hope you're doing well, friends. I...am thanking God right at this moment, that this is all still here for me. I would have cried...yes real tears. LOL.

Mmmmmm My Coffee Is Yummy Today...

So...here's what I'm thinking. Couldn't I just copy the old template and put it in place of this one? I can find the template in the archives. Hmmmm...any ideas? I know we're all creative...one of you smarties has to have the answer. Let me know.

Or....maybe, how about this...I could use one of the simpler generic designs and put a cute header up on the top of the blog. Hmmm. Someone...Please HELP!

Here's something else I've discovered this week. All these dots and crappy blog punctuation, does not help Christie when she's trying to piece together her writing.

Oh, and Sammy Boy just told me that his Lego's are "Fricking Around" and it's "Pissing Him Off." Lovely!!!!!! My mouth isn't that bad. I swear. Plus, if I'm going to say fuck..I say fuck (not around the boy.)I don't use the wording "frick!"

Well, it's a beautiful day here. It's about 38, but the sky is blue and it's gorgeous. I can't wait until Spring. The pansies are still out and living..the weather is so mild this winter. I love this. I don't do well in the super cold..so this is a blessing for me.

I think that's it for now. Today is a better day. I hope you're all doing well. Thanks for all your kind words yesterday. I soooo needed them.

Need A Heart For Your Sleeve...I have enough for everyone!

Yes, I'm the emotional feeling one in the group. I don't get neurotic about it, but yes..I wear my heart on my sleeve and we all know that by now.

Isn't it funny what one picture can do? For me It brings me right back to the moment. I remember it all...feelings...what we were talking about...what happened after. It's what I do.

Ok...that being said, I need to knock this shit off. It does me know good. I don't need a stupid picture to make me relive the last 5-10 years. Ugh. It's heartwrenching. I know I should be happy, content...and I am happy. The other part of it is just that when I love. Whether it's a romantic love...or a friendship. I give myself. It's not an overwhelming thing...it's just that I care. So after loving and giving, when it's over...I do miss.

Aaahhhh...If you're thinking to yourself...wtf?...sorry.

This is the only place I can express this. When Dr. Calm here's me he makes me come up with the reasons why...and it's just quite a bit of work. So here I can dump and it's ok. This is my space.

Just a few thoughts now...if I let it out then maybe I'll feel better....

Turmoil is abound right now. Inner turmoil, I guess. It's funny..I can fake happy like I can fake an O. Let's just say...that's pretty fucking good.

I hate an ugly mean drunk. I can't deal with it. I grew up with it and now I seem to have it in my world and it breaks my heart. When it's around me I feel alone and isolated from the world. It changes a person. The next day...I fake happy. :( (and no it's not me.) I know because of alcoholism my life has forever been changed. It's been part of my formative years and adult years. I don't blame anything on it...I make my life what it is...but it still has affected my world.

So he's not deploying to Iraq, but we're moving. Maybe this is why I hold on to my dear friends and you guys are wonderful. I know when I leave I'll still have this and you...(if this post doesn't scare you away.) It's tough...and it sucks. I have no idea where we have to move, but I do know that this house will be up for sale this summer. Ugh. I hate moving.

I'm not really as tortured as I might seem..lol. I'm just a feeler. I feel what's going on in my life. I guess it's better than living in denial...

Oh and let me just say...It's almost February! Don't tell me we need to start getting bathing suit ready again?! UGh...lol. To be a woman. :)

Ok...my venting is over. No feeling sorry aloud. I just needed to get it out. I kind of feel better already...

Do you...

This just spoke to me. Since this is my blog and for my feelings...let me just say I'm having a moment.

Yes..I know...I need a new look!

I miss my old pink look! I need some sort of an update. I was going to try to do something simple myself...but Hmmm...I don't know if my talents extend that far. :)

Anyhoo...I'll have to figure it out, because trust me...I'm not one of those people who leave their Christmas Tree and Menorah (Jewish Dad..Catholic Mom..lol)up through January! Sooooo...any ideas my sweet friends? My sweet designer Heather, who's done mine previously is dealing with some serious health problems with her daughter, so I just need to figure out something different.

Oh and let's see...The house is no longer sick! Whooohooo...!

I do have a topic I want to dive into later after coffee...It's a teaser, but I really want to talk about types of blogs and the "jerk" who left me a lovely comment about how he/she thinks the Mommy Blogs suck and we're all self centered women, who don't have a life. Yeah I know...Fuck Her/Him. This is not a Mommy Blog...it's my blog. It's my world. Ugh...I need coffee. I will dive into that later. Oh and let me say...don't be such a wuss and use anonymous when you leave a comment. I can delete you....and who the fuck cares what you think? LOL..Ok I'm done.

Sorry Lizzie...all those fucks were necessary..:)

They Say It's Your Birthday!!!!!!

I am a mom of an 11 year old girl. How did it happen so fast...?!!!! Let me just say that 11 isn't what it used to be. LOL..not that any of you are surprised.

So, last night was slumber party night. Oh yes, I just said yes to her. She must have gotten to me at a weak moment. LOL..Holy Crap, what was I thinking? It was a group of 9 of them. Ugh huh...lol...9, plus mine...plus my 6 year old! Nice.

The first moment of me almost dying was when they were talking about how much they looooooooove Jesse McCartney. It was "Raise your hand if you like him. Raise your hand if you love him....Ok Raise your hand if you want to do it with him!"!!!! Ummmmm Excuse Me! Do It?! Not my baby and her friends. When did that happen?

After a while, one of the girls ran in and asked what Toxic Water was. LOL. Hmmmmm "Toxic Water?" I got up and went in....oh TONIC WATER..lol. Well, they were all freaking out with gagging faces. Soo....they got their grooves on by drinking Toxic Water and then sneaking some later in the night just to mix it in with other things to freak the other girls out.

Anyhoo...let's talk about sleep. I knew they wouldn't sleep...no biggie. Except, one of the girls at to leave at 6am! The mom told me when she dropped her off and added "I hope that won't be any trouble." YEAH RIGHT. So I had to be up at 5:45 waking her up and getting her out the door. I ended up asleep around 3:45. The kids and hubby were sound asleep in my room. To make a long story short....The girl stayed up until 6AM!!!! Holy Crap...they broke any record I might have had at their age. LOL....Girls!

It was fun and I made it to this morning still alive. Tired, but still alive.

So I wish you all such slumber parties with your little precious ones in the years to come. If you're that brave...or suffer a momentary lapse in judgement and say yes. :)

These few things I know for sure today...(3am in bed typing)

1. Let's give the inventor of the Z-pak (zithromax) a Nobel Peace Prize..because with that I'd have no peace at this moment.

2. When was the last time you heard of the mommy and the daughter getting Pnemonia together. Then the daddy gets a little put out because you screw up his day at work, because you're really unable to drive or function. Hmmm...I'll let you ponder that one..

3. I sooooo miss not having my family close right now. I'm overwhelmed and sick...and no one here to help me at all. That makes me sad.

4. Finally...thankfully I have my handy blog...friends who don't mind if I complain a little (because apparently I can't anywhere else in my world.)

Love you...

TMI Tuesday...I just snagged Lizzie Girl's Quiz.

1. What are three mistakes someone could make on the first date with you that would automatically make you turn down a second date with them?
Stinky Breath..Phone Calls to the "other person" while out with me...oh and Right Wing Zealot! LOL...
2. On a scale of 1-10, how important are good manners to you? Hmmmm...Important..because if you go back to #1 I couldn't go out with a guy if he ate like a pig!
3. If your so stopped having sex with you, how long would you stay? NOt long...I personally enjoy having very good Os.
4. Have you ever dated an ex's best friend or relative? I can say that I haven't crossed that visible line. Ok got together with, but didn't date! Huge difference.
5. On average, how long do you think people wait before having sex? How long do you think they should? I don't think people wait as long as we used to. I was never a "LONG" waiter. LOL. Waiting period all depends on the chemistry factor. Hmmmm I remeber a time when no words were said and the kisses just moved straight to sex. Oh my...soooo good. Very memorable. TMI!
Bonus (as in "optional"): How long do you usually spend on a single session of making love? Trust me...not long enough.

All About Me....

It's been a long weekend. Thank God the emotions of football are over until next week. The stress of all those skaters falling in their triple jumps is over until the Olympics....and I my friends, am looking forward to the kiddies in school tomorrow. Hot Damn!

I'm taking myself and going to the Y, followed by a nice hot time in the Sauna. Then. It's off for a Mani and Pedi. Yes, I know...such a chick. However...let it be noted...I love being a chick. I told the hubby that life would be dull if I didn't have my quirks. So, I have a nice Diet Coke right now, my smut magazines next to me calling my name, the Golden Globes are being Tivo'd (not missing them..lol) and I'm finally having peace with the kids in bed.

Sooooooo I will type tomorrow in the morning, rather than the night...just because I finally can. Oh and I've started writing again, other than the blog. I'm just going with it and we'll see what happens.
Love,
Christie

What to do when my Chargers aren't in the playoffs...

Hmmmmmm let's see. I miss So Cal. I miss my Chargers. I miss the traffic...yes the traffic (ok..only sometimes.) I miss driving up the coast. Ok, the rant is over.

Now, here's the quandry. Am I being too much of a chick because I want to watch Ice Skating? The Patriots and Broncos are on, but hell isn't that why we have TIVO? Ok Ok...I do love football, but cheering for Broncos doesn't do it for me. I miss my Chargers. I love my underdog team. They soooo fucked up their season. They beat the damn Patriots!!!!

I guess I'll tivo my Ice Skating...not that I'm so into it, but it's the Olympic season and it's gets really catty.

Anyone reading anything good right now? I have had my fill of smut for my few weeks. I want something juicy and good. Give me ideas. The whore needs a book. LOL..just a book whore my sweeties.

James...This Book Whore Wants To Believe You!

Edited 2:35 PM!!! Before you start reading, the parts of James Frey's MLP are about 18 pages. They're to do with the arrests and jail parts. I guess it wasn't "as bad" as he wrote. I'm really not as upset as I sound..lol. I guess I need to preface posts like this with a PMS warning! :) I do love that book..I soooo want to believe him.

Call me wuss. Tell me I have a bleeding heart. I wear my heart on my sleeve? Of course I do. It's me....always rooting for the underdog. I give the homeless guy on the corner $20 without thinking. I've been known to give the illegals money in the baby aisle at Vons with stress in their eyes over the cost of diapers. It's me. It's who I am. Guilty..

So now comes the "truth" that James Frey made up some of his book, Million Little Pieces. . Lizzie and I started our Book Club because of this book. Keep Holing On...the mantra of November and December. All I can say is WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!

Oprah doesn't think it's that big of a deal. He said there were only about 18 pages in question. I don't give a fuck. I bought it hook line and sinker. I cried with him, really wept with Leonard. I just don't know. I will say it and stick to it...Million Little Pieces is one of the best books I've read. It's in my top 10.

James James James, This Book Whore...doesn't like lies. Come on baby...no screwing was necessary. I don't know. I'm not a "critic." I'm a lover of books. You have this way of hooking me in with your writing.

Yes friends...my name is Christie. I'm a founding member of our Blogger's Anonymous group..and yes a Book Whore, as well. Who knew!

XOXO

WHAT I DID OVER CHRISTMAS VACATION...BY CHRISTIE L.

After all the presents were wrapped it was all about waiting for the smiles. Oh the smiles, the laughing...the "Mommy can you get the Barbie out RIGHT now." I pulled ever single Barbie out of those horrible cardboard cases. The twist ties weren't going to stop me. My fingers would recover. A manicure was only a phone call away.

So one after another, the toys were ripped open. My fingers were shredded. The husband, it seems, is only capable of battery insertion. Hmmmmm...oh and anything technical was the oldest's job. LOL. She's so good like that. Legos, Starwars Xbox, blocks, babies, Barbies, an Ipod....Santa was very good!

I'm sitting here thinking of Christmas and now New Years. I found a quote in the Benjamin Franklin book about Resolutions. It was a great quote from a 20 year old Franklin. Did he also invent the idea of a Resolution? I'm not sure...but he did come up with something great. Here it is. His "Plan For Future Conduct."
1. it is necessary for me to be extremely frugal for some time, till I have paid what I owe.
2. To endeavor to speak truth in every instance; to give nobody expectations that are not likely to be answered, but aim at sincerity in every word and action-the most amiable excellence in a rational beiing.

How come I couldn't come up with something 1/50th as good! I hope you all are having a fabulous 2006 and your poor little fingers are recovering from all those little gifts!

Finally, one more thing...
I've missed you guys. I will write more later. I'm just tired and getting things back to normal. I need a vacation...:) LOL!

Resolutions...

Do you do Resolutions? Hmmmmm I do and I even, sometimes, make it into 3 days with following through. :)

I'm thinking about what I want to do this year. I figure I'll be on the ship on the 1st so it's a good way to stay good for whatever I choose. Do I do the ever favorite one about weight? Hmmm no...so boring. I want something good. Do I choose to stop pleasing? Ummmm Maybe.

See, it's a mixed bag. I'm thinking about it. I want a doozy. I want to challenge myself. Letting go is a good one.

Crap..I even make doing a resolution hard!

LOL...I'll think about it and come back. I know one thing for sure. You guys matter and I love that we've had this year to get to know each other. We all ROCK as a group and I'm glad that even with all the miles we work in our crazy way.

2006...? No Way.!

Woohooo...It's official. It's over! Santa and Mrs. Claus are done with their hard work and are totally being lazy today. Shopping? No f-ing Way! Who goes shopping after Christmas? I'm too shopped out. Happy...Content...and Lazy! That describes me perfectly.

Christmas was a total success. I can't even tell you how wonderful a day it was. We did miss our family..and it felt a little off because of that. It wonderful, though for the kids. They loved their gifts. Yep...Mrs. Claus really did quite a number with all that planning and list making. :)

Now, it's time for vacation planning. Hot Damn! I need a vacation. Get this...I slept in until 8:45 this morning! If you know anything about me, than you know that sleeping in until 7 is LATE! I woke up and it was 8:45. Kelsey made me coffee, the kids were good...and I think Ava only called me on the walkie talkie 3 times during the night to tell me she had a tummy ache. LOL! That's right. A walkie Talkie.

So the new thing is a throw back to the baby monitor! We got them walkie talkies for Christmas. So now instead of coming in to my room 3 times during the night...Ava baby can just beep me. "Mommy...Mommy.." That's what I wake up to. Much easier to keep her in bed than put her back in bed after she comes in and wakes us all up! LOL..just a little hint for you guys. It totally works!

I'm off to sip some more coffee out of my new starbucks mug. I love it! It keeps my coffee warm during the cold mornings. Mmmm love it.
TTFN...thinking of you sweeties.

Merry Christmas You Hottie Mrs. Claus'

How are you my sweet Mrs. Claus'? Merry Christmas. I know today is a fun busy day for all of us. I wanted to tell you all how much you mean to me. I cherish this. In my world where I had to leave my wonderful friends and move here...I found you all. We're all just a few key strokes away. For that...I'm thankful. You're all a wonderful gift.

You all know you're in my thoughts. I hope Mr. Claus is very very good to you. Liza hunny...in due time you'll put on the Mrs. Claus hat. :) Just give it some more time.

Merry Christmas friends. I looked for a good song. I couldn't find just the perfect one, but then this one popped up. LOL. So Elton John And his Christmas Song it is.

Love you...

We're all a little crazy...aren't we?

Well if you have never seen this Martina McBride video my friends...you must. I just stumbled on it this morning and remembered how much I love it. I wonder if it could be the man in uniform and the woman in the silver Ford Minivan. Hmmmm...just change the police outfit with a Marine uniform and maybe that's what hits a button. They're all just a pain in the ass once in a while..aren't they. Oh like mine threatening my Mocha with sleeping in the bathroom. To which I responded...When you attack Mocha..you attack. Yes, I was told I am full of crap. Ok, fine...maybe, but my baby isn't sleeping in the bathroom. Of all the fights to pick last night..only a man would threaten my baby Shih tzu. Only a man. LOL.

So listen..(oh lizzie..you need a normal computer) and shake your ass with me. You know this is how we all feel once in a while. LOL...Oh yeah babies...we sooo do. :)

It's two days until the big day and 3 until Hanukah. So, thankfully I have an extra day to get the Hanukkah box to the parents. So funny. Jewish Dad, Catholic Mom...one sister who is Jewish..another who stuck with being Catholic...and me. LOL. I miss my grandma, but you know...I smile. She's soooo watching us this Christmas and getting a good laugh. Melanie is pregnant, Erin is on a full ride scholarship in law school (and getting into the hottest bars in LA...it's the hot ass i'm sure) and my kids are shaking every present in sight. Looking under all the beds and in the closets. Thank you God for a large Trunk...and the fact that they haven't figured it out yet!
Miss you Grandma...but totally still feel you around. Very Sweet.

Feeling Nostalgic..and There Are No Cookies...ugh

I'm feeling a little nostalgic. We all have people we wish we could hug..say we're sorry to, confide in again...but we can't. So thank you friend. You always love that love. I hope you know...and you know who you are...that all the years can pass and you're still in my heart and soul. Deep breath...

You Girlies of mine..and our Matty...know what I mean. I just didn't have much to type right now. I thought this song could say it all.

Someone...pass the cookies..!
Love you..

To be 20 something again....:) and Oh and my Goat...

Yes my darlings this is from my hot little sister Erin. She lives, has ideals, goes to law school (not for the money but to help some part of humanity)...oh and did I mention she's just the cutest sweetest sister. Yes, Melanie..I love you too.
I can't say enough wonderful things about them. We can talk about one another...tell each other how it is...but I feel sorry for the person who does this in front of us. It's kind of like what you guys said for me on the day of the "incident that made me cry" last week. We fiercly protect one another. Oh and yes..I get to hear about how she had "THE BOMBEST NIGHT"..LOL!

Baby I had the bombest night on saturday. I got into the hottest club, the bouncer looked at me and goes "who you with" I was with my 2 other girls and he let us in free. No cover, which was $20. Then inside Mandy Moore was having her birthday party with Zach Braff,I saw Bruce Willis standing at the bar 3 feet away. Jamie Foxx bought my girls drinks, and Puff Daddy walked by us a couple of times. Other people in attendance: Paris Hilton, Christina Aguleria, and kevin Connelly from Entourage. Then i danced with Aaron Spellings son, remember when he was on 90210. I would have told you all this over the phone but you did not answer the call today. love ya.

Love you guys, too. Oh and yes..Bono is wonderful. I know more about Africa and am trying to do what I can to help Africa (my goat giving) and humanity (sponsoring orphans). It's hard to look at sometimes. I know this. It hurts. It can pull our heartstrings and make us so sad, but taking care of one another is so important. I'm blessed..I have it good. Yes, I have issues and the kids make me crazy on days. However...we have it so much better than those poor women and children over there. Soooo, I do what I can. Anywhoo, go look at One.org and listen to all different people from different political views...religions. It's about people. Ok..I'm done. :)

Happy Monday Friends....

Christmas...Mecca...and a Goat

Christmas...Wow.
What a difference a year makes. Last year I was in a crappy place. I felt alone, lost, and just trying to figure out where my place was in the world. Yep...I was a young 30 and lost. Well, here I am a year later...and I couldn't have imagined the bright at the end of another year. Thanks friends for sharing your blogs, thoughts, and laughs with me.

Ok...so now, who the F**k knew that finding Legos would be impossible! Ok, well I do have some now, but it took a week! I had it in my shopping cart on amazon 3 times and it was taken out right before buying it! Ugh! Ok...finally, boy in tow I ventured out to where? You got it babies. I went to Mecca! I drove up and the T bullseye just drew me inside for a pilgrimage.

My gingerbread latte called to me. Yummmy. Then I told the boy if he promised to not run and lose himself in the toys I would let him get something special (you guys know the $1 bins at the front? :) So, sipping my latte I ventured into the girly section. I picked up some gloves for me, picked up some more goodies, and put things back after reevaulating my allowance. Hmmmm...toys toys...I needed to get to the toys. I just wanted to make sure to check out the toys. I love my Brand New T!

Right there...alone...all alone on the bottom shelf, I could see one tub of 50th Edition Legos! Hot Damn! Of course I just figured out how to hide it under the coats so the boy didn't see the total boy gift! Then I just wandered to the Christmas ornaments...housewares...candles....mmmmmm.

Get this! I got out of there for only $38! I'm good...Yes, I am.

Oh and let me just add this. All of this happened after I called the hubby at work and told him that he could just buy a goat or some chickens for a village in Africa for my Christmas gift. (an oprah show) I was quickly told he didn't have time for my manic moments. I was serious, but a nice little wrapped something, would be greatly appreciated too. :)

What I'd Give You For Christmas...

I've been complaining quite a bit these last few days. Today I'm not going to do that. I was thinking about you guys..my Bloggin' Babes. The ones that can brighten a crappy day...the ones we can count on to defend our honor LOL...and I'm just so glad I have you guys. Really...there is a core group of us and we know who we are. We sooo like each other. So, in this season of giving, I'm going to tell you what I'd give you if I could..: (Sound good..?)

Lizzie GirlyYou would receive a house cleaner for a year, 1 subscribtion to Amazon for free books anytime you wanted, then you'd need free iTunes for a year. Oh...let's add DSL to that list so you can hear all my fun songs! XOXO Love you...and you know it!

Peanutt/aka Peanutt You'd get the Martha Stewart magazine for a year. You'd also get free tickets to any "Metal Head" concerts in town. Hmmmm oh and let's see...Video Teleconferencing so you could walk us through all the holiday crafts you do. :) You're one of the originals and I sooo appreciate you our little Tink.

Mama Duck: This is easy hunny. You would receive unlimited tickets to Texas to get the dose of warmth that's so deserately needed right about now! I'd make sure You had an on call babysitter to come and take the girls so you could go to the park. Then...I'd make sure you had a good supply of Diet Coke and Jack in the pantry. When a girl needs a drink she needs a drink! :) Oh and let's not forget some more sexy hot shoes for winter..LOL. You make me smile daily. That is a wonderful gift sweetie and thank you for that. XOXO

Bethy: Tons and tons of gift cards for Home Depot! You soooo need them with all the renovations you have that Handy man of yours doing. Oh and sweet hotpink badge that says "Don't Mess With My Friends!" XOXO..you're wonderful.

Choppz: You my dear would get a matching badge like beth. Then you'd get free maid service for a year. With a new baby coming...you could soooo use it. Then maybe a weekend at a spa to relax and recover. :)

Jewl: I would bring back that hubby of yours and make sure he was in the Christmasy Santa spirit. :) I'd also work it so that the two of us could maybe be on the same base at the same time! HOw about that?! And sleep...somehow I'd make sleep a nightly occurance. :) If only..huh. lol. XOXO..I always look forward to you.

Marie: Well you have your Job! Woooohooo! Next I'd give you that digital you so desperately need! LOL..oh and maybe a scanner, too. Mmmm...maybe a little mistletoe and a hottie to hang it up for you..:) Yummy or what?! XOXO, C

Dottie: Sweet Dottie..I'd give you a little nice of peace and quiet. I'd give you enough Diet coke to last a year and then a nice little taxi driver to take the kids back and forth to all their functions. :) Maybe just a once and a while a taxi...because we know sometime those car rides are sweet. Ok..let's see...oh and yes..someone to help you get both those trees down after the holidays!
XOXO...C

Liza Girl I'd send you some yummy homemade million calorie chocolate chip cookies. You're tiny enough to handle them. Then I'd send you to a nice hot little beach so warm up your cold self! Baby it's got to be cold there. Mmmmm and then I'd send you a wonderful huge christmas tree! XOXO..Your'e so sweet to me and I soooo appreciate you.
Last but soooooo not least! Our Sweet Kitty CAT: Ok with the year that you've had you deserve the vacation of a lifetime with the hot hubby! I'd send you some warm socks for those tootsies of yours that are sooo not used to that cold. Then maybe I'd find just the perfect little "mocha" dog for you. You need a little one to spice it up over there. :)

For all of you...Tickets to meet halfway for cocktails and our trashy kind of humor!

I know I have more people on my "NICE" list. I just need coffee and to take the girlys to school...More later...

To Lighten Things Up...XOXO!

Public Apology...

I had no idea I hurt someone like I did. When I read how I was ripped apart, I felt horrible and the tears just started. When I type notes I usually have a hint of a smile in my tone. Always. I would never be malicious. I really must have lost something in translation. I try to brighten someone's day...never hurt. I am so far being mean, I'm sorry.

I'm sitting here in tears because I hurt someone, because I was saracastic. It was being sweet. I didn't have a mean tone in my body.

It's been a rough 4 days over here with me in and out of the doctor's office. I am sorry if I am sarcastic. I'm at a loss here.

I just want everyone to know I didn't mean to hurt Mat. He asked if anyone wanted him to translate something about how civilization is being destroyed. I said...yes translate, we'd love to see how we're working towards our own demise. I said nice thought...but i signed xoxo C. I'm very much a person for humanity. If any of you were close you'd know I'd be there to help any of you with a hug or anything. If any of you find me offensive I'm so sorry. After all these months i just thought You would know that I'm kind and not hurtful.

Sorry sorry sorry...I don't know what else to say. Ok...now let's see...how do I get the tears to stop, because it's like a faucet was just turned on.
xoxo

Yes...those are jammies..

Conversation in my house:

Hubby: Why are you up? You can go back to bed.

Me: Ummmmm I'm up, it's ok.

Hubby: (In front of his computer doing who knows what. Kids running around with the dogs who haven't been let out yet.) Oh hunny, I'm trying to help you. I've got it all under control.

Me: (looking at the clock and it's 7:15 and Ava's bus comes at 7:35) Ok..but hunny the kids need to get dressed. Mmmmmm they're in their jammies. I just wanted to make sure you were on it.

Hubby: Oh, that's right.

Me: (oh yeah..Mommy goes in mommy mode.) I know hunny, sometimes their jammies do look like clothes. LOL.

Hubby: Smartass...
**************************************************************
So, in 20 minutes flat I got all the kids dressed, hair brushed, lunches made, Christmas stockings packed up for party, and shoes on all of them. Hmmmm.

Which leads me to this. Men are just men. I know there are the few out there that can do it, but I just wonder if I hadn't come down if he would have figured out how to get them dressed with backpacks on and off to school? :) This is the precise reason why the Mommy never gets sick. LOL!
PS..You should hear him on the phone trying to get me in to see a doctor.
I'll let you in on the scoop...

Never A Dull Moment

There's never a dull moment with me. Of course it's around Christmas time, too. Do you guys find that you are always taking care of the little ones, and by the time it's your turn you just say...it's ok...it's nothing? Me too.

Once in a while life comes at you and bites you in the ass. I'm sitting here half drugged and waititng for a doctor to call to set up a little surgery. Nothing huge..just a few cycsts on the ovary, but damn if it doesn't hurt like a Mother F****r! I spent all night last night in the ER, but since the ovary's blood flow looks ok..then I just need to get it done this week. Yiipppppeeee! Just add it to the christmas to do list. :)

I'm thinking of you guys...

Monday Morning Memories...Enough Already!

Where has the fun me gone? I'm here, but I seem to be in a place that takes me back through all my memories. Sometimes that's not a great thing for me to do. I've been told I wear my heart on my sleeve. I do. I think when you do that...you hurt like that too.

My Monday is going to be spent getting some Christmas Stockings ready for Ava's Class. I'm doing their names on them. The room mom is an over doer. Yep..that's me. I say yes to anything. I offer, even when I don't need another thing to do. LOL..it's my nature.

I finally have the gifts all sorted out and now I just want to sit back and try to enjoy the holidays. I was in bed this morning and it hit me. I have 2 weeks and 6 days until the cruise! WOW! Mmmmmm the ocean, the smell of the salt, the breeze in my face....vacation. I can't wait.
PS>..I love James Blunt. He's wonderful. I am going to download his cd on iTunes in a little bit, I think. I just wanted to share him again.
Thinking of you guys...

Happy Sunday...

Sunday Sunday...and the coffee's good. I've got my Sunday ads from the paper all organzied (I love that.) The kids are only being slightly obnoxious to one another...so the day has promise.:) I am going to start doing a little
Mrs. Claus work. There are presents to be wrapped and cruise things to be organized! Wooohoo!

I must clean my house today. It's amazing how fast 3 kids can destroy one little room. lol. Ok ok..not totally destroy, but I can't relax if the room I'm in is messy. So go figure. LOL.

Baby I'm Cold Inside...

Edit: I changed to a U2 song, because I needed to wake this place up a little!I chose Breathe, because we're all needing to just Breathe right about now. I'm sitting in front of the fireplace (duraflame..lol) and just watching the news this morning looking at the lights (colored) on my pretty tree (that has a little slant action going.) The ornaments (totally sentimental) were all hung by the kids. My collection (of snowmen and snow globes) are scattered through my decorated house. I love this time of year. We got a little snow last night. Nothing, really...but enough to make it freezing for the california girl right about now.

My girl (Ava) woke me up at about 4:20 and she wanted to get up. WTF? Once I got up at 6:30 I realized she's excited for the birthday party of her friend, today. OH yeah, my friends, mommy gets to go shopping for a toy and take the kids out into the cold. Lovely. However, I sooooo had the thought of going into the Xmas gifts and just pulling out a boy toy. Soooo Bad! I know.

My coffee is yummy this morning and Betty Nguyen on CNN is looking good today. HOw does she get so cute so early? I need a little warming up right about now, I can't even contemplate getting cute so early. I'm off to drink coffee and watch a little news. I'm not even daring to go out and get my paper until it it reaches at least 20 outside. Happy Saturday friends...
Love,

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS...

SO...I know that most of you do the fake tree, but what I really want to know is how "ALL" out do you really go?
1. White or Colored lights
2. Sentimental Ornaments...a Theme...collect 1 every Christmas?
3. Lights outside or Full on Griswald house?
4. Wrap the presents or just stick them under?
5. Is your tree at a "tilt" or is it perfectly straight?
6. Do you guys want lists from your significant others...or are you great at mindreading like I am..? :)
7. Guest for Christmas or not?
8. Duraflame, Generic or Wood....?

Yes..I am the nosey one. We all know that. Share with us, though...Enquiring minds want to know.

Love You Guys...

Well, who's ready for X-Mas? Oh friends...I'm not. Crap...I know. I have most of the presents done, but for some reason the loose ends are sooo not together. Between the Cruise and Xmas...this mama is a busy girl. I'm off to the tanning booth today, I think. I need healthy glow. Why not?!

I don't have much today. I just wanted to post and say hi. I do have some handy holiday tips, though. If you want them...lol :)

1. Lotion up! There's nothing that will make you feel better than soft soft skin. (don't forget your little tootsies, either.)
2. Buy a new CD to lift your stressed out blah spirits. I know you guys are feeling it, too.
3. Work on the hair...you know when the hair looks good...the day is much better.
4. Go read Lizzie's site to have a good laugh about woman vs men. You will laugh hard!
5. If you have pets..snuggle with them. They're so loyal and unlike the children they don't really talk back.
6. If you don't have dogs and the kids are little....then put them in their cribs, go turn on the shower, shut the dooor (it's ok if they cry..they'll be ok) and soak in the shower. You'll always feel better after a shower.
7. Finally, crack open the diet coke, pop your ice in the glass, if it's late enough...splash some jack in...and warm up.
8...Know that you're all beautiful to me.
Love you guys...

"It's not big enough!"

"I need it bigger!"

"I want the biggest one ever!"

"Ooooooh It needs to be fat too!"

"Perfect Perfect Perfect! This one will fit!"

You guessed it my sweeties. Those were some of things said to me while looking for a Christmas Tree! :)

You guys are great. Kelsey is feeling better. It's a never ending thing with her, but She's awesome and resilient. I've been blessed with such amazing kids. Yes..they drive me batty like kids do. They're my batty kids, though. :)

Ok guys...I'm in the Christmas spirit and things are coming together. I hope you all are happy and humming your favorite tunes. I'm thinking of you all.

IT FEELS GOOD TO JUST SAY FUCK OFF SOMETIMES!

Doesn't it? We all have those Fuckers in our life. LOL. Sorry Lizzie...the F word feels good to say...:)! I love this song. I love thinking to myself...FUCK YOU....YOU JERKY PIECE OF CRAP! Life Happens...

Deep Breath...

I had an exciting, wonderful...amazing weekend planned. Needless to say it was all f***ed up because of circumstances beyond anyone's control! I'd drop anything for my girls and boy..and I did. I'm mom first when they're sick...and let me say my girl was sick. She's going to be fine, but it's just a journey and NEVER a dull dulll dulll moment.

Sorry My Sweetie
Love you...

Things I Know For Sure....

This has been one hell of a week! The kids have been sick. I've gotten over being sick, but something was off somehow. Christmas is around the corner and for some reason...I...like many of my Bloggin' Babes feel this blah feeling. So here's a list of things I know for sure that will help our little blahs....

*When your hair looks good You feel good!

*A Jack and Diet Coke at 4:30 is fine...we won't tell.

*Sexy panties and a matching hot bra can cure the not feeling pretty moment!

*Amazon Delivers...and Target is Online, just in case it's snowy for my non snow girls (MD you know what what I mean..)

*Music , Music, and more Music! It can change your mood in a heartbeat!

*Have all the ingredients for Chocolate Chip Cookies for that emergency moment! (Right Lizzie Girl?)

*Laguna Beach...The Real OC...is perfect fluff for the brain. Available for quick tutoring sessions to get you up to speed..lol.

*Fluff is good...trust me.

*Change all your ringtones on your cell...it's only a manic moment it's at 2 in the morning.

*Finally...Just be thankful we have each other. We get it. We get one another. We're intelligent enough to figure all this out, patience and determined to keep at it, and the babies haven't turned the brains to such moosh because we can put the thoughts down and just LAUGH. That's right hunnies...Just LAUGH with each other.

XOXO

A Few Saturday Thoughts...

Today I went to the big T. I followed my list and only deviated a few times. I ordered some things online and feel like things are coming together. My cruise tickets came today!!!!! I'm so excited. It's going to be fabulous and I don't care if that sounds like I'm bragging! LOL. I don't think I'm going to cook any kind of "bird" for a long long time. I'm only feeling halfway like hell, which is waaaay better than yesterday. Hmmmm I wonder if I had Taco Bell if it would make this feel better like it does for a hangover? Just a thought. :) Hope you're all doing well in all that snow! Ugh! It was nice here today and about 50. Life is pretty pretty good.

It's amazing how much changes in a year. Over the last year I haven't cried nearly as much as I did the year or two before. I haven't stopped loving and caring..but I haven't crumbled either. GO figure! Sooooo..this is it for now. I love this song...

That Damn Turkey!

EDIT UPDATE: I'M CONVINCED IT WAS THE SPICING UP OF THE TURKEY. i EMPTIED ALL OF THE JUNK OUT OF MR. TOM TURKEY. I TOTALLY WASHED MY HANDS. I'M CRAZY LIKE THAT. THE THING IS...I'M THE ONLY ONE THAT REALLY REALLY GOT SICK. REESES GOT ICKY BECAUSE I THINK HE SNAGGED A BONE!!! SOOOOO, I RUBBED THE SPICES ON AND RUBBED RUBBED RUBBED MR. TURKEY. SOOOOOO LET ME SAY..IT KNOCKED ME FOR A LOOP. I DID GET TO COSTCO AND MISSED NOTHING! I HAVE MADE WONDERFUL TURKEYS AND THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE...SO GO FUCKING FIGURE!!!!!

I sure could use a little ZEN...right about now. After my Turkey fiasco I'm even contemplating Peta's answer to Turkey.

You read it correctly...Damn Turkey! I sit here this morning, typing, sipping coffee that doesn't even taste good...and I'm in pain. I was up with the man next to me, and the big dog..rolling and hurting, grabbing my tummy...and feeling like death. The only only only thing it could be ....the turkey. Holy Hell is all I can say.

What happened. It wasn't me! I'm telling you it had to be the turkey itself. After making my way downstairs and looking this shit up on the computer...it's looking like the bacteria in the turkey doesn't just "cook off" like in chicken. So, here I am...food poisoning...and feeling like crap. Ugh...I'm not even shopping right now, which shows anyone...the mama isn't feeling well.

Hey...the pies were yummy, though. :) The whole dinner was yummy. I'm just sad it was a complete crap shoot! LOL. The kids seem fine, but then again who knows. Ok the bitching is over..I'm going to have some pepto right now...and see If I feel better.
UGH. UGH. UGH.

Gobble Gobble Gobble...

Have a wonderful day my friends. I have the pie cooking as I type, the Turkey is next to go in, and there is plenty of wine on hand for the cook..:)I'm thinking of you sweeties today. Love to you...and calm soothing nerves from my kitchen to yours. I think it's possible. :)

SAVE ME MOMMY!!!!!

OH MOMMY SAVE ME FROM THE CUTE GIRL!!!
What can I say? She loves our Mocha. Mocha is just a good sweet little puppy. I'm telling you he loves to just be pampered, hmmm but the stroller he could totally do without. If you look really closely he is even buckled in. Yes, he sat still for my girl to buckle him in that stroller.

Cooking, Buying, or Going Out...?????

What are you guys all doing tomorrow? Who's going all Martha Stewart on us? You all know that my guess is Peanutt. She's, for sure, one of our crafty homey little bloggies. Lizzie, are you cooking for that brood of children or are you bringing in? LOL. I have totally contemplated bringing in the turkey from Honey Baked Ham! Look at that dinner.
Now, I think, I'm going to cook it up! I'm a good cook. It was just cooking a huge dinner for just the 5 of us that will be done in like 10 minutes by the little ones. LOL. It is nice to have the left overs and get the turkey smell going in the house. Yummmmmmm!!!!

Who's going to relatives? I'm sure MamaD is getting her babies all dressed up adorably and going to someone's house. Am I getting close, you guys? My favorite Thanksgiving reminder of when I was little is the greenbean casserole. I remember we always had it in the white Corning Ware with the little blue flowers on it. I'm also a pumpkin pie lover with Coolwhip! Ok I'm getting ahead of myself. Yummm I love Thanksgiving.

I'm thankful for ....So many things. My family, friends, health, sense of humor..because God knows that gets me through most days, my puppies, and all those special people that make me smile every single day. Love you....XOXO C

She collects $59 for Katrina Victims, all on her own. Ok...so she's a good kids. Got it?!

Just a Few Thoughts for a Cold Monday...

1. When do boys/men figure out that they really need to put the seat down. For my little man...it would be put it up before he pees. Hmmm. I'm not going to totally give you the visual, but let's just say somebody had her ass fall in and it wasn't pretty! "Women teach your boys to put the seats down!" Maybe the husbands will follow the boys' lead." Ugh..then maybe not.

2. I'm all for putting lights on the house early, but come on. It's Nov. 21st! Please old lady across the street who mows the lawn in the lovely "housecoat" don't put the decorating in the kids head yet! I know I know...your cheery..but come on! They are going to complain for lights every single day until I put them up. Yes..I do all the handy work around the house. My husband is just not festive. Hmmm.

3. When will I get spooned and not just from the dog. I know I know...I have it so rough, but this mommy really needs a little spooning. Yes..all about me, but so what.

4. Should I just buy the Thanksgiving Dinner or make it. It's only the kids and hubby, but I do love to cook. Sigh. I will be the only one to do dishes and If I'm going to all that trouble to cook for hours I'm eating on the china. Then I'll have to wash it all by hand. LOL...such decisions.

5. I'm going shopping on the day after...just because! I'm going without hubby or kids. Does anyone want to come and join me? Throw on those Nikes and just do it. I need a friend to power shop with me. Ok..just a guy to hold the bags would do, but hubby hates to shop. See a theme? That's why I do it all online, but I'm getting the urge to just go this year. Mmmmmm i'm living on the edge.

I'm done. I'll come up with something cheerier to chat about later. The coffee hasn't hit me yet.

Mocha The Snuggle Bug...

PF..Look at that face! How could you not fall in love with him. He's my loyal baby. He snuggles in with me when I'm feeling lonely. He spoons behind me when I need it. He doesn't yell at me. He comes in if I wave a little lunch meat in his direction. :)When a girl needs a little love...a baby Mocha is a pretty good substitute for anything missing. Ok so no sex and no making out...but lots of cuddling. He loves football, too. He just happens to be a Charger fan.
Love,

Closing My Eyes...And Dreaming of January 1st, 2006

My friends that is the view I'm going to have on January 1st. Yes, it's ok to hate me now. There's still room if you want to come along. :) If I can talk my hubby into it...I'm sure you guys can too. Oh that's right....some of you actually do the money in your relationships! LOL! Hey, then it's no problem.

That view is almost the same as the one from my room. That is a cabin that's 4 rooms away from mine. There's this great website CruiseCritic that gives all kinds of info and pictures from all the cruise lines. It's awesome. I even Googled the Conquest and typed in my room number and ship. It pulled up all the websites with rooms on the Conquest. My room wasn't on there, but ones close by were! Soooo exciting! Enjoy the view.

Next up my favorite Bloggin' Babes...I have discovered something awesome. We all have those days when we can't stand to take the children out. You know their moods..lol. Sooo when we need an outlet. Right? We have our coffee, our diet coke...mmmmm a little Starbucks and what is left? Our Target.com! That's right babies we can do Target.com and get a semi-fix. :) If you go through Amazon you can even put Target things on your Wish Lists!

Yes...I'm a freak! LOL! I love you guys, though and just wanted to pass on my pearls of wisdom to you all!

Who Else Needs A Nap????

I'm thinking it's about naptime! I could go snuggle in bed and sleep a few hours. I went to the Country Club Y..lol. Yes..more country club than Y. :) I walked 3.7 miles. WHew! Then I went and sat in the sauna. SOooooooo needed. I have the cruise January 1st and my sister is getting married! Sooooo I need to look good. I love having something give me the extra push to get off my ass. Not that being full time mom, wife, housekeeper, taxi driver....laundry doer...isn't an always off my ass kind of life. :) It really is good for the brain.

So, yes my sister is getting married! We have no date, but it's exciting. I called this morning to push for a color choice on this one...and let's just say it's anything but pink. LOL...Yes that's my favorite color. Hmmmm maybe we can get some pink roses in the mix...:)! What do you think Melanie? I'll get some in somehow. What's a wedding without a little pink!!!! Melanie is much more earthy and high maintenance. Erin is easy...but in a High maintenance kind of way. HHHMMMMMM we must get it from Jan (my mom.)

Ok my blogging babes..I'm feeling better. PMS is subsiding, I think. I'm getting in the Christmas spirit. I love this time of year. Just love it!

Talk to you guys soon....

Yes Hunny...There Is Global Warming....

Ok Ok..You know Ms. Me doesn't get political, but come on! There has to be Global Warming. Let's see, we're into (Gamma..next hurricane name,) Next week is Thanksgiving and yesterday I was wearing my Steve Madden's (for Nashville that's hot,)and...Today my friends I'm wearing my Uggs.

So, Mr. President and all the zealots..If Saddam had WMDs then there is for sure Global warming..LOL. Don't stick this mommy in a cellar (undecorated) with 3 kids a big dog, a baby dog...And a hubby barking orders and expect me to come out Happy..LOL. Ok, I'm done.

Yes, the Uggs are out. Ooooh they're so cute, too. The Amazon list for the kids is done and taken care of. The "Happy Holiday" cards are filled out. Yes...Half the family is Jewish, so they're not Christmas Cards. Aaahhhh, I'm feeling a little feisty this morning. I'm for sure going to get a little pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks. Oh and the princess isn't going to get an Ipod, like she requested, but she will get a good little MP3. Once she told me she could see her self in the plane on the way to the cruise with her IPod and her music...how could I not try and figure it out? LOL. I really want to get her a cell phone, because she's on the house phone all the time! However, the male adult in the house isn't going for it. He has no clue what it's like to live with a preteen. He's an only child.

I'm off to Yoga in a few. Have a good day friends....

Tornados on the Radar!!!!!!!

Update: Yes, we ended up in the Celler. UGH!! We had tornados all over Metro Nashville. I swear it sounded like a freight train when we decided to go to the hole under the house. (ick..) We're good. It's the worst rain storm I've seen. So, that being said, we were lucky. Now, we need a flashlight! I had my cell phone opened for the light. We need chairs down there and a major light. Oh and everyone with cable has lost it in the area...thank God for Directv. Weather people live for this stuff.
I know my friends in the midwest aren't new to this, but friends...I'm freaking out. We have a line of horrible tornado weather through the whole state, with a straight shot for Nashville.

Ok Ok Ok..I know there it's not katrina or Rita....but I'm from San Diego and AZ. I'm used to sun and nice weather. I don't even have a real basement. We have a Celler and you won't find this woman in a dark place with no light!!!!1

Sooooo think good thoughts my friend. I'm sure things will be fine. I know, I know...this is to show me that yesterday wasn't really as bad as my pity party made it out to be. :)

I wanted to send this in case we lost power. You know it's the South and all the powerlines are above ground...(ugh!)
PS...Lizzie...I'm thinking of you, too....I know they're around there, as well.

Hugs and kisses...

Pass the Midol...

This is a complaining, bitch of a post.

Do you ever have those days where you feel like a failure and nothing is going right. Ugh. Helllooooo! Today is my day. So, since this is MY blog and I don't seem to be able to complain in real life...here I go.

* I have horrible PMS
* I'm sorry you're going out of town and don't want to order pizza. I, however, wanted pizaa tonight, because it's beeen a crappy day. So, no..seriously, don't worry...I'm going to make tacos. It's ok if I feel like crap..at least you'll not have to eat out.
* When do I get to have a bad day?
* This weather needs to get itself figured out, because I need to know how to dress the kids for school.
* When will the laundry end. (hmm..never i know.)
* I soooo need some serious spooning right now.

Ok..I'm done. I better stop, because I could go on for a while tonight. Yes, not your perky Christie, huh.

Dreaming of a Getway...

Let me set the scene for you. I'm having coffee, looking through the paper, freaking out that Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away...and I have just told my oldest to stop talking. She has been complaining since she woke up. I'm sure it has something to do with her brother waking her up in his total OCD meltdown. He couldn't find his Spiderman Shoes! Now, Why at 6:02AM would he need shoes..because his Spiderman costume needs the matching shoes. I guess he thought Mocha baby came in and grabbed one of the shoes from it's designated resting spot. Help me now. :) So he slammed her door and she was up. UGH.

Since I've told the princess to stop talking she has. However...she's a smart girl. That's right my friends, she's sitting on the other couch using sign language to talk to me. I glare. She explains how I told her she couldn't talk, but she could sign. Calgon take me away.

Where's the husband? Oh, he's sleeping. Remember, he needs his sleep. Yawn. Sigh... and I'm trying not to be bitchy. Today is a new day. My mantra.

As the mantra goes through my brain..I dream of a getaway. Something away from them all. You know where I'm going with this. Ok, I've got tropical coming in January..but I want something with girlfriends.

Relaxing, Cocktails, a little gambling, lots and lots of people watching, and sunning by the pool. Come on...I dare you all! Let's sooooo plan something fun. LOL...we all need it! Remember What happens in Vegas...Stays in Vegas...!!!! LOOK!!!You can get a room with a STRIPPER POLE!!!!!Not that we would do that, but just the thought that we could......:)We could have some fun Share Picture Fridays.

Totally kidding with the Stripper Pole! That was a Holy Crap moment, though. Let's see..."Oh yes, I'd like the special Stripper Pole room, because I'm feeling extra slutty!...Oh, and do you offer Stripper Pole lessons with a local stripper? I need to learn some sexy moves while I'm there?!!!!!!!!!"

Happy Sunday Friends...

Craaaazzzzzyyyyyy...

Happy Saturday My Bloggies.

I just wrote this nice post. Then I realized...lame, totally lame. So, I deleted and started over. I'm having my coffee and doing laundry at the same time. SO this is in between the excitement that would be my Saturday morning.

I could sooo go back to bed right now. I am the Morning Girl, but right now the kids are pounding on the piano, my oldest is telling me how an Ipod Phone is a good deal at $300. Uh huh. LOL. She wants an IPOD....yeah, really.

I have decided that this is what I need this morning...
A little getaway without children.
My body could use a total massage.
A pedicure that would last a nice long time.
A maid to do the laundry and change the sheets.
How about a piano with earphone plug ins...my children sure can experiment loudly.
Someone to design a business website for me.
My daughter to have her own phone line. I never thought I'd say that!
Some serious TLC and Spooning....

Who else needs some yummy time...

Happy Happy Happy...

Thank you to the Veterans. You have given our country the freedom we enjoy every single day. Your sacrifice and loyalty for these United States of America will forever be remembered.

So here I go:

"I'm happy I can laugh at myself."
"I'm happy am capable (able to light the log in the fireplace)"
"I'm happy I'm sensual."
"I'm happy I'm a fashion plate. Yep..lol."
"I'm happy I'm computer illiterate. If I were I wouldn't have met all you wonderful Bloggin' Babes."

Thank you friend for having me change it to the positive...:)

My Bloggie Quirks...

As I write my blogs, I'm always catching myself with my quirks. I didn't realize it was such a habit until I tried to quit using some. LOL...So my sweeties, I'm going to highlight a few of them for you.

1. ...... I use the dots. Guilty. No clue how I started.
2. LOL. Yes I use the LOL quite a bit. I laugh often. It's healthy!
3. !!!! Yes, I realize these are overly used, as well. I just want to show when I'm excited! :)
4. Hunny. I guess I started spelling Hunny this way with my first love. It was a way of being cute. I guess it's never changed. I'm a touchy feely kind of woman.
5. XOXO. Once again, I'm touchy feely. Cutesy probably. I just can't help it. It's my extra special touch.

I'm sure I have more, but that's all I have for now. Those are the big ones. I'm just a little beat today. They're all home and I've got dinner going. I'm off to be domestic.

Lizzie's TMI Tuesday!

If you haven't done the Lizzie's TMI Tuesday Quiz...I dare you! Go over...play there or copy onto your blog. It's fun. It's cute. There's always a little self-discovery involved.

1. Describe the perfect date for YOURSELF... what you would enjoy most.
I'm the romantic, so that's on the table before I begin. I love candles and soft light. My "date" would be with someone who I had fabulous chemistry with. He'd get me. We'd make each other laugh and just be romantic at the same time. Laughter, candles, a little wine, and some serious yumminess. There's my perfect date.

2. What is your worst habit?
Diet Coke...I know I know...!

3. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you? (1 is lowest, 10 is highest)
Happiness is relative. How about this. I'm not selfish about my happiness. I'm really in a great spot. I'm healthy. I know what life is about these days. I'm good.

4. Do you apologize when you make a mistake? How do you react when someone calls you out?
Queen of apologizing. That's not a great thing. I'm working on that, though..LOL!

5. Have you ever had sex in your parent's home?
I must say that before I was married I soooo had sex in my parents' house. Since being married..yes, but there's something about the risky on the edge kind of sex. LOL. :)

Bonus! Oral or manual? Oooooh very naughty Lizzie! Mmmm...Who doesn't like a good O!

Our Fluff and Her Kidney...

Note to my sisters and non-bloggers. You can still leave a comment! Just click on comments number below and leave me a note! See..you can play, too!
I finished Jennifer Weiner's Goodnight Nobody! I've had it for a while, but I just found other books to read in between. Ok...Loved it! It's a little different from her other reads, because this has a slight "Sleuth Effect." She just has this way of making the reader fall in love with the characters and giving us a good laugh. Her first, Good In Bed, isn't smut at all. It's my FAVORITE of hers. Ok...so take your sweet fingers and head over to our Book Bloggin'Babes Blog and become one of our BB Babes.

On a more serious note...We're going to have to get K all her scans for the Infamous Kidney. It's really hard to find a good Urologist. We once had a great one, but here in Tn..it's a whole different story. Her Nephrologist is moving to another state to a Children's Hospital, so that's another thing I'm going to have to find this week. She was the greatest! Kelsey is healthy and I need to keep her that way. She's my miracle and after her..my life changed. It's amazing how children do that to us. I just get anxious doing all the doctor calls, because it brings me back to those years ago when things were crazy and she was so sick.

I don't live in the past, but I do wonder sometimes. How can I not? It's the way I think. This brain of mine never stops working.

Site Meters..
Have you ever woken up and check your site meter just for the heck of it, only to discover the last person on earth you'd ever think of had found your site. You soooo know who you are. :) It warms my soul.

Ok sweeties...I am sooooo going to starbucks and getting a pumpkin spiced latte. Oh and ours is a drive-thru! So, I don't even have to worry about getting gorgeous..LOL. I can sip it while I plan my Cruise transportation! :)

Target and BJs...

It's official...I have lurkers. I'm an international hot spot. LOL. I have visitors from everywhere. I know about Mat and Bart. They're part of the Bloggin'Babe crowd. I just didn't realize I had visiotrs from Mexico, England, Dubai, Romania...and many more. What kind of American info am I passing along that might be interesting?

So, as I sip my yummy coffee I'm thinking the posts that get comments and international visitors. LOL....Yes friends, it's the naughty ones. I get more comments when I talk about Target and BJs..then anything else.

What does that say about us? Hmmmm Maybe that a shopping trip to Target is as good as Sex!

Happy Sunday. I'm off to read the toy ad from The Big T! :)

I Know I'm Not Cheap...I Think...

Doesn't this look good. It's a yummy Pumpkin Spiced Latte. For anyone that likes coffee and pumpkin pie...OMG! I loved these last Thanksgiving and through the holidays. Here's the thing. They're like $4. Ok...that is waaaay too much money! Once they add tax in, it's pushing $5.

Aaahh..so there you have it. That's really my only Bitch. SO, I guess life is good. I'll go ahead, continue to be cheap...and maybe get the hubby to splurge for one with his cash...:) Sneaky..I know.

That's it my Sweeties...

Rugs and Socks and No Doormat...OH MY!

Lovely, newly, engaged Kristine has another SPF for us.
1. Rugs... You'll see my sweet baby Mocha. Yes, I'd love another baby..but you know Mocha is just waaaaay easier. He's just so loyal and greets me with such love when I walk in the door with whiny babies. :) With the rugs, that I gathered and put out...you'll notice a nice selection of rugs from Which store? LOL.

2. Socks Socks Socks. I don't like my feet too hot. I do like these little pink ones. They save your feet! Socks save feet! Do you hear me. You don't need a pedicure a week to keep your feet nice and soft. Vaseline, socks..and a pumice stone...make for soft sexy feet. Too bad my hubby can't stand feet, in general.

3. You want my Doormat!??? I just put it in the Rubbermaid with the Halloween things! I need one for the "inbetween" time. Before Christmas...and after Halloween. Maybe i'll go pick one up this weekend. We never use the front door, though. We are park in the garage, and in through that door kind of people. LOL. Go figure.

Let us know if you played!

The Bullseye Just Casts A Spell Over Me...!

Is it the Swirling red bullseye that makes us go into a trance and just suck us right in? Does anyone else just get the exhiliration of a trip to the big T! Maybe it's the smell of Starbucks seeping out of the doors every time they open to greet more us as we go in. I just love this store!

In bed last night the hubby was offering up more money for Christmas shopping. I had to promise...yes promise...not to blow it all in the first two days of the month. He went on and on and on. He told me when I called him from Target in the afternoon he KNEW I was calling for him to slide some extra money into my account. I denied and denied. I lifted up my head off the pillow in protest...only to then say...ok well maybe you're right. He then informed me that I call him from Target every time I go and ask him for a little "extra." LOL. Does he know me or what? I am that transparent?

Ugh. Well babes..it's just because they have it all. I can go through and get the kids some popcorn to hold them over until I'm done shopping, a little diet coke for me to get me going...and then the aisles call my name, "Christie Christie Christie...we're such a good deal." I was at the new one yesterday and they have the most GORGEOUS baby furniture! I've seen pieces at some of them, but now full on room displays! They had Gliders...not crap fake Gliders, but The real thing! GOrgeous sleigh bed cribs and matching dressers. Loved it! It was set up into this fabulous room set up. I dashed right over. Loved it!

So, it's official...I could talk about the T forever hours. LOL. Loser..yes I am...but a stylish, happy, "got her fix" loser..:)
PS..their toy selection is awesome this year! Ok Ok..i'm done.

Mama Duck's Freebie...

Ok MD, it's not the greatest picture of Captain Feathersword. I thought it might do, though. It's the only one I have. He's there with my freebie, Anthony!

Yummmy! :)
