Schoool Days School Days....

Well today was Christie Volunteer at the school day. I've been doing for a few weeks. It's actually pretty fun. The things those kids say when their parents are not around. LOL...Holy Crap is all I can say.

I just thought in my own way I'd try to explain the school "Supply List" for those of you unfamiliar with it. You may get one with your little one goes to Kindergarten and I want you to really understand what some of the items are for. Yes those are TENNIS BALLS!

Pencils are a given. However when you're to send two boxes..you wonder a little? (Yep room moms get to sharpen some of these as a little added task.)

Next are the famous tennis balls! Yep...you see now. All the balls in action!

Then I noticed a tree...could that be a leaf changing colors!? Fall is almost here. I love this time of year.
XOXO

That's an interesting use of tennis balls. :) I've heard they are used but i don't recall seeing those back in the school days! hehe

Wow, that's a good shot of the leaf changing colors. Is it fall already? It is unusually cooler here than it normally is this time of year. There was actually a nice crisp element in the air. :)

Wow, did they ditch the janitor or something? I mean the tennis balls to not scrape the floor or cause scuffs? Which one is it??? Oh my, to think that we actually have to worry about the chair scraping across the floor in a class? LOL, that is just too strange.
I hope you had a wonderful time!

That is a good use for Tennis balls, they should ask you to bring old ones before you go out and buy new ones though first.

I just thought you'd love to see that some serious thought goes into those school supply lists!

Tennis balls for chairs. Oh and volunteers to sharpen all those pencils!

Those tennis balls are the best idea ever given how loud the chairs can be on the floors. All of my classrooms were carpeted (when I was teaching), but that has it's disadvantages too (like icky things stuck in the carpet...).

I knew there was reason for all those balls!

I used to love buying school supplies! (Yeah it's been a few years...Shhhhhhhhh)

We had carpeting in the catholic school I went to so we didn't need tennis balls but we could have used some rollers on the bottom of the chairs! How fun would that be?!
