St. Patty's For All....

Today is the day for the Irish! Everyone is Irish today! Are you crock pots going? Do you have the cabbage ready? Guiness in the fridge?

I wish you all could come over and partake in a really "festive" St. Patty's Day party. Enjoy whatever you do! I hope wherever you are the green is everywhere!
XOXO

The bishop here excused everyone from no meat today. :) Big party at my sil's house in a bit. Should be fun. Unfortunately I still have to make cupcakes, cut veggies and to do that... go to the store. Gotta run. I feel like I haven't been home once all week. Blah.

Happy St. Pat's Christie!! xoxo

The kids and I were driving through town Friday with about 45 minutes to kill before 4:00 gymnastics when we came upon a BAGPIPE BAND marching along the sidewalk! It was serendipity because there was a parking spot available RIGHT THERE. So I parked and the kids and I followed the band through town and into two pubs!! It was funny and fabulous. They had about 6-8 pipers and 3-4 drummers and several hangers-on. The folks in the pubs were thrilled and the air was quite festive. My 5 year old did a jig and got several compliments. :-) Probably the best St. Paddy's Day ever!!

here in holland, saint patricks day is a totally non-thing... the only place it is really celebrated is in the irish pubs, of which there are a few more than statistically accountable at the moment :D (

totally worthwhile, a little expensive but tremendous fun... just my take then ;-) )
