My New Toy....

No not that kind of toy! Ok Lizzie...Darlene...all of you..minds out of the gutter. LOL...even though that might not be a bad idea these days. Anyhoo..lol..this is the best thing I can recommend!
The Bissle 2X Heater Carpet Cleaner!

I've been the vacuum whore, remember. I have used them all. I would only use Stanly Steamer for the house. I'd pay $500ish twice a year and get the carpets cleaned, deoderized, and protected. Now, the old rule of thought is that these machines leave in soooo much soap in the carpets that traffic would pick up the dirt.
THIS ISN'T SO ANY MORE!!!!!

This amazing machine heats up very hot, you regulate the cleaner, and when you're done you can do a little rinse cycle with the turn of a knob. Now, I have traffic...3 kids, huge hubby feet and the dogs. My white carpet is not picking up any extra traffic dirt! AMAZING. The thing is there is a Scotch Guard spray you can hook up to it and protect the carpets yourself!!!!! Absolutely the most amazing product ever!!!!!!

So there you have it. Yes, I wish I had hardwoods throughout the house, so I wouldn't have to worry about this. However, since I have a house, obviously designed by a man with white carpet, this Bissle is worth every single penny spent on it!

That being said...Happy Friday Friends.
XOXO
Christie

LOL!!! You crack me up. I love looking at vacuums now and I'm curious when I went from thinking they were boring to wanting a really nice one. I need one bad with all the pets I have!! The one I have now is the very old school, no extension, paper bag kind. It barely picks up anything! I'll have to look into that vacuum for my registry maybe!!

When my husband gets his crap together we will be there. He doesn't have official orders yet...so I told him we're waiting for that!

:) OOOOOHHHH I didnt' even think to mention all the yummy attachments.

Ok..not a vacuum..a cleaner. I have finally found my favorite vacuum, though....a hoover cannister. SOOOOOO fabulous.

I hate my vacuum and need to save my pennies for one just like your new toy! :) My friend spent a lot of money on a Dyson and said it wasn't worth it - just wanted to share that in case anyone reading is thinking about getting one!

I did the consumer report thing on Dyson and it's a complete waste of money!

I got the Hoover Cannister. Totally worth it! Save and don't waste on a cheapy. I've been through soooo many cheapies.

The Bissel is great for cleaning the carpet, though. Sooooo fabulous! LOL.

Yes...excited about cleaning tools.

Okay, word of warning from a girl who has owned one since her little darling went through a week of dumping the following, all in the same spot, in the course of three days while her dad was out of town: a bottle of ketchup (which is why I rented one), two new boxes of cereal (which is why I redid them the next am), and a 2 lb bag of powdered sugar (which is why I called him the NEXT am at his hotel right before he left, BAWLING, and why he bought me one of those before he got home). :)

So anyhoo... watch the soap etc. A lot of times it leaves a residue and ends up making things stickier than when you started. You can get out most stuff with just very hot water.

Enjoy it. :)

Lizzie..it has this great little rinse cycle.

The soap in the carpet thing is the reason I never got one. This one just happens to work soooo well. Love it!

I'm jealous! LOL I have the model prior to the one that you got and yours does even more! As far as vacuums go, I have the "ginormous" (to borrow a word from my 13 y /o) Kirby. It'll suck the carpet right up off the padding but man, it's heavy! Thank goodness it is self propelled when running. Wanna come do my carpets? LOL
