CHRISTIE-ISM OF THE DAY....

Don't laugh...but if you do, it's ok.

So, I dropped my cell in my Diet Coke on ice. Ok, laugh. Just wait, though. I take it into the bathroom and start the blowdryer. As you can tell, I wasn't a phone dropper virgen. LOL.

Well, it wasn't working. Hmmmm. Well, I go to the internet. OF course! There has to be an answer. I found it!

* Put the cell phone in the oven at 125 degrees for 5 hours. Then take it out and charge.

Well I'm trying it! LOL.

Ok...Laugh. I'll let you know!
XOXO

Not at dropping your phone (I have dropped mine in the toilet) but at putting it in the oven!

Hope your day got better!

Oooooohhhh.... You've given me so much to work with these past few days...

First, and most fun - yes, my cell has "gone in the drink" a few times...three, to be exact. All three in the toilet. (Clean, thank you!) Twice in the space of 3 minutes... The guy at the cell phone place was REALLY nice. Took the phone from me, took it apart to dry, gave it back to me later in the same day - and never charged me! Sees it all the time, I guess!

Second, yes, I'm still seeking peace...I figure I'm lucky if I get MOMENTS of happiness and joy. I SURE don't expect it all the time! And that same message seems to be hitting ME over the head right now: Life is NOT about what happens to you, it's about what you DO with it that matters.

Your list sounds a lot like Oprah's Gratitude Journal...I've gotta dig that thing out and get back into it, ya know?

Thanks for the compliment - and do keep that pecker up!

And I'm so glad to hear your thoughts on "Quick Fixes...Feel good moments...Moments you would be ashamed for people to know about...not worth it." Shows a great deal of maturity and growth, you know?

And lastly, today's video of the day...hurts like hell. Oh well. BTW, HE laughed at it, "They wouldn't wear full turnouts to a wildland fire! And where did they get that hose if they were helicoptered in?" Etc. :-)

Maybe you're glad to hear from me - maybe not...either way, take care...

I always love to hear from you. After that I'm left wondering if you really know what those words mean to me. I miss T and wonder if the drinking will ever end. When he drinks he's not T. When he is fine and sober...he's a wonderful man. The whole fire thing..lol..I didn't really even think of him. Sorry it hurt sweetie. That part is over and done.

I hope that's clear and I hope you knew that already.
(he was gone for the whole weekend came back and got drunk in 22 minutes flat.) yep..
the music is directed at my life and daily feelings. Not the other stuff.
