I love this time of year. Love it!
I didn't make a resolution to lose any weight. I know...right? Ok, I've been working out and getting the heart healthy for a few months now. I received a new pedometer for Christmas. I'm addicted to the "Steps Per Day."
Did you know that in order to get to 10,000 steps a day you really need to work at it?! On a day when I don't work out I'm lucky if I get to 7,000+ steps. The more you wear the pedometer, though, the more you'll get more steps in during your day.
How about this for an example. I've been a little sick with a stubborn cold. Yesterday was a crap day. I felt icky and lethargic. Ok...I only did 4000ish steps.
So here's to shooting for 10,000 today. I plan on getting in about 13,000ish because of my workout planned. I'll let you know how it goes. :)
