Can I hear a WOOOHOOOO!

I probably should be sad. I'm not! Today is the day all my little ducklings waddled off to school! Ok, waddled onto the bus...! They were happy, excited, and wearing the cutest outfits. My babies are out of here!! Summer is over! WooooooHOOOOOOOO!

Yes...I'm happy.

Very happy. It's just been a loooonnnnnggggg summer. A major move. Ernesto and my house. The other house still on the market. (BTW..we're thinking of renting it out after all of this craziness. Input...please.)

Here they are...
Love you guys...
XOXO

Thank you for your excitement that school is now back in session. (sigh) My teens arrive tomorrow. ;) Enjoy the quiet coffee time as I start sipping again with the teenies.

Woohoo Join the Party!!!

Do something for yourself!!!

hmm the renting thing... sounds good, as long as you rent to good people who will take care of it. Otherwise..scary! can the military help out? like rent to military personel?
Either way... Good Luck!

Wow that rain is really bad. It is so dark out in those pictures, either that or it was really early in the morning. LOL

They look great and excited to go to school. WOO HOO!

Sorry about your flood. We've had that this month but due to a busted hot water tank. Not fun.

The kidos look way cute! We rent our home in TX and so far have been lucky... I have heard some horror stories from others though. Good luck either way!
We got hit by Ernesto too... I think we are supposed to get hit by another this weekend. Blah.
Yeah for school and Yeah for you having some alone time. Enjoy.

Yahooooo for you!!! And the kiddos being G-O-N-E.

Renting...if you get a management co. to assist that may help. The thing about renting is that no matter how high the rent and how good the renters there's sitll wear and tear on the house when the lease is up. We just rented a house and it was a MESS when we were done just b/c we lived there for 1.5 yrs. Scuffs on the walls, wear on the carpet (which was cheap quality)...we painted over the scuffs but the landlord decided not to put the house back on the market (his intention was to sell it once we finished renting) but to keep renting it to a new person. Just depends on your level of patience...we owned a duplex and rented one half...water heater goes...they call you...air conditionning breaks...they call you...being all the way in VA I would recommend a property management co. to help.

Whoa...who the hell asked me to write a book!??!?!

The kiddos are so cute! Isn't back to school GRAND! :) Lillianne and I are loving our days together with the older ones at school.

Yikes at the rain that you have been having. We would love a bit of that sent our way....

Renting might be a good option for you with the understanding that it could sell. It is easier to sell a home that is lived in (as long as it is lived in well). I definately agree with the management company. Your Realtor may provide that service or be able to recommend a good one.
