Well the vote are almost all counted. Wow! What a night for a total news junky like me. The only thing missing was my sister and mom to watch it with. It was exciting and just completely exhilerating. A change! All I wanted was a chance for change!

Do you go all out for Halloween?

Halloween parties are this weekend. I totally let the kids dress up, but I just don't go all out for the costumes. I used too..lol...oh yes...child 1! If you have more than one child..you know what I mean.

This year we will have a baby, spiderman, and yes an 80s girl. HOly crap...has enough time passed that kids think it's a great idea? to dress up like those crazy looking 80s girls? Wow. My daughter came in and told me in the old days..back in the 80s (gulp)the girls were so into making their butts look big! Excuse me!!!!!! Oh yeah! According to my 12 year old...we loved pants high up around our waists and that's how we had big butts. No wonder, she pondered, there was a big butts song! LOL...yeah really funny. Ugh!

"Hey Mommy...I'm going up to your closet for some 80s ideas!" The miss priss cackled.

Joy! She brang down this sweater (that i actually like) and put on with her black leggings. She just needed some shoulder pads and we'll rat the hair with a little (lot) hair spray. LOL. So there you go...I'm from the Old Days!

Friday 13th A Week Late

Yep...It's been one of those mornings. You know what I mean. Everything just goes wrong from the moment my eyes opened.

1. Oldest missed her bus by a minute.
2. That lead me into chasing the bus down in my minivan! Ummm Didn't work!
3. Ordered the children to find the boy's missing shoe and get to the car in heartbeat.
4. Signed all that needed to be signed.
5. Went for coffee to bring in the car....ummmm forgot to press the on button.
6. etc.
7. etc.
8. etc.

You all know it just keeps going on and on...

So, now I"m sipping coffee. Just got off the phone with the Kindergarten teacher who thinks I probably lost my f-ing mind. LOL...yep..forgot to pack his lunch money, but thankfully he has money on his tickets (lunch tickets.)

Now I get to fight the Electric company for the money pit, because of a misread on the electric bill. LOL...Yep.

Worth A Read

Amazing Idea and worth a read. I went and bought a T shirt. It's amazing how much medicine can be bought with the profits from one T shirt.

What a day...

Do you ever just take in the view? Breathe it in and just take it in so you don't forget how good life is sometimes? I suggest you do that right now. If you're having one of those days...find a good view and breathe it in deeply. I've just been looking at the ocean drift by and life is good to me.

Just enjoy whatever view you have near you. It's worth it. I promise.

Yesterday was wonderful. My boy turned 6. I felt like the hole I'd been in was at least a mile away. I turned out to be quite the mommy with the perfect gifts for the boy. Do you remember Power Rangers? They, like so many other things, are back!

Well I'm off now. I need a nap. I went shopping all morning. (I know..poor me..lol) So now It's time for the mommy to relax before everything starts at 3 when the little ones arrive.

I can't believe I have all three children in school. My baby is 6 today. He amazes me every single day. Last night when he was running up and down the soccer field, and enjoying it, I just smiled. My baby is growing up.

Time just flies. Ejoy it and soak it as much as you can.

I have the presents bought, wrapped, and ready for cake and ice cream tonight.

He woke up to his birthday morning...big in my house...and he's off to school to wear the birthday crown.

He's so cute! (PS...don't even start about the white socks. The black ones were in the dryer..lol)

Another soccer game and this mom screwed up the oranges at halftime. Yep. I did apples and was quickly told how soooooo not ok that was for many reasons. I managed the after game snack and drinks...so give me a break. I tried.

Next, why do some parents get so f-ing crazy at under 7 league soccer games? I'm clueless. Ugh. It's rather disgusting.

I LEFT MY DAMN CAMERA AT HOME!

CRAP CRAP CRAP! The boy had a fabulous soccer game! FABULOUS!

The only problem is that I left my camera at home! HORRIBLE! Back to the fabulous... He had a great time. Here's the great part...HE MADE HIS FIRST GOAL!!!!

Here's another funny thing from the boy.
"Hey Mommy I asked the HOTTIE Girl to come to my park," said very a matter of factly by the boy.

"Who's the Hottie Girl hunny," said the mommy in her floored voice.

"She's Sarah and mommy....she's such a hottie...and my girlfriend," announced the boy proudly.

Finally The Money Pit Is Sold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a gorgeous house, but the damn buyers just want so many little things done, and of course we're so tired of owning it...we'll do almost anything to get rid of it at this point.

Let's just recap the last few homes we've owned and give me your best guess to the following question.

Which one looks to be the more expensive home?!!!!! Anyone...
Below you'll notice a nice little colonial that has 2400sq ft, built in 93. New carpet, paint, HVAC and new roof repairs. LOL...oh and did I mention new lightbulbs, per the buyer's request. LOL...


This little beauty is a southern California gem. Tiny...but a gem. It's a three bedroom with all new tile downstairs. New carpet is upstairs. Fabulous paint. The house is about 1436 sq ft. LOL...a little smaller huh? LOL. Oh you'll notice the tiny little backyard.


Ok...well the answer is....the little gem on the bottom went for 150k more than the one on top. Lovely..huh?!


Soooooo now i'll just enjoy my ocean view and my fabulous house I'm in now. The house is sold and I get to enjoy this one in peace.

Shopping ...two days in a row! Holy crap. My hubby gives me an allowance. What the hell am I thinking..lol. The thing is..he's encouraging me. He's just totally in that MOOD these days. LOL. He's just gifting me to creative fun. :)

I need to find someone to do my hair here. It needs color and highlights. I have a few of those non my color strands coming in! I refuse to say the name of the color. It makes me feel old. LOL.

Monday Monday...

If you know anything about me by now, then you know I'm a music junkie. If you see that I'm listening to a little Van Morrison...then you know it's one of those mornings. My sun was kicked, punched and stepped on during the ride home on Friday. So, rather than yelling at him and sending him to the office...how about asking what happened. Stupid ass! Snapping of your fingers, like you told me you did to him, isn't the wisest or most sensible way to communicate with a 5 year old! (yes he is my boy and he isn't an angel..but what the fuck! he gets the shit hit out of him and cries and she threatens him? bitch)

Now that my blog is looking good again, I feel I can blog. I'm feeling passionate again. Here's an update of what's going on in my world.

3. I'm still not sure what to do with myself, but that will come when it's time.

I've lost myself. I'm plugging away with life and doing all kinds of things with the kids, but when they're at school I'm having moments of "WHAT NOW?" It's that fine line. I'm happy they're all in school, however now I need to figure out what my place is in the big picture. Ok...Ok...I only have from 8AM until 3PM to figure out my world! LOL...Yes, the rest of my life is pretty booked.

We're getting slammed. Nothing like Katrina...but a kick ass strom on the coast. There's been a few inches in my basement (thank GOD I have no clutter or anything down there.)

Poor Thing!

She's totally BUMMED! My girl has been waiting for the cast to come off for 6 long long weeks. We took her in yesterday and the Orthopedic doctor told her she needed a NEW cast for another 3 weeks.

The most upsetting part of it was that the cast is BLACK! She was pissed they didn't have a choice of colors like they did at Children's in Denver. She went from cute hot pink to black.

Look at that face. Soooo sweet, beautiful...and pissed about black! LOL.

Due to my Mama D comments..lol. As much as I'd like her to come and take a peek for herself..I guess I'll just post a few a day. I'm completely moved in to the house. I love it here. The house needs some decorating. It needs color! You'll notice all the white. The funny thing is that in person the white has character. All the paned windows fabulous old molding around the doors. The wood floors have been kept up with each family. I'm sure they've been redone a few times, but the original wood is here.

We have the ocean on one side...ok actually the York River...but we're right next to it feeding into the Atlantic. Yorktown is where the American Revolution was won. It's an amazing little spot where an amazing piece of History took place. Across that river in the pictures, is where Cornwallis took his stand against Washington. I live where Washington and his army won the last battle of the war. Just a little piece of info for you all. If I got any of that wrong my teachers out there will let me know..I'm sure. :)

I have seen more wildlife creatures in the last two weeks than I have in my entire life!!!!!

I'm from California. Coastal Cali, for that matter...and I'm not used to this. I've had the trash gone through about 7 times until we discovered the bungie cord to keep it closed. LOL.

The Squirrels have thrown Acorns from the trees down at me!!! They've knocked on the door! YUCK YUCK YUCK. Squirrels are rodents...I think..lol. Anyway...I'm rodent phobic. LOL.

Ok...house hasn't sold. Crap crap crap. Ok...it will.

I DON'T GET IT!

Here's my boy and his self portrait. LOL. Ok, back to my confusion. How is it that 5 year olds can be on "hardcore" soccer teams? I'm at a loss. My husband tells me I'm easy on the whole competitive thing. Shouldn't they just have fun? They're sooooo serious about soccer here for the 5 year olds. There are some little kicking machines out there. They're going to win, ball hog, slide and steal from their own team. I'm getting used to this whole mom of a boy thing. (5 years in) He doesn't know what to make of the whole mean team thing. I was proud of him, though..he told one boy he wasn't sharing. LOL. Oh well..I know...I'm stressing the small stuff. Oh and if I didn't make this clear...my boy is soooo far from being a wuss. He's a tough little dude. I just wasn't expecting this kind of team.

At least he's not like his oldest sister. I remember when she was 5 and was playing. She stood near the goal during games singing Britney Spears songs, along with some cute little moves. Needless to say, she didn't make it many years with the fall madness..lol.

So, today's the princess's day to begin with her new team. She is so not like me...she won't take crap from the boys on her team...so they better be nice..lol. Yes....Co-Ed Teams.

Finally...SOMEONE BUY MY HOUSE! It's a great deal, gorgeous, great schools, great investment property..lol...New Carpet, New Pain, New Air Conditioner....hmmmm yep we're basically giving it away. LOL.

• Quick thought...I did girl scouts (free) and was happy. Hmmm wait, no,my mom had me in Acting classes in LA, repatory theatre at South Coast Plaza...dance, and ok they were busy too..lol. WOW...I forgot all of that.
• I'm completely and totally unpacked.
• As I watch "What Not To Wear" I'm thinking how totally frumpy I am these days. Oh and the few little pieces of gray hair...suck! I need a serious colorist!
• I need some friends here or I'm going to go out of my fucking mind in solitude. LOL.
• Anything else...hmmm....oh yes...How do I find another Dr. Calm?!
• Oh and take a look at my baby Mocha. He looks nothing like my fluffy baby. Let's just say I will be finding another groomer. He's been traumatized...LOL. Poor Mochs.

We are here. I'm almost entirely unpacked...and we're getting settled.

My hubby really found us an amazing home. It's beautiful. We have a view of the golf course in the front and a view of the ocean. It's tranquil and perfect. I love it here.

Ok, off to finish my room. Computers are hooked up and now to find my camera computer cord. LOL.

Tales From The Money Pit Part 4

In the never ending saga of the house in TN (my cute sweet house,)we have yet another thing to day.

On a quick recap...here it goes. First new paint (all one neutral color all through the house.) Then it was new carpet through the entire house. Lovely, I know. Let's not forget the fact that we had to have a friend go in and unclog the toilet and change some filters for us. Finally....the air conditioner...is fried. LOL. If we don't laugh we'd just cry. LOL. Hopefully we can get the $2,000 covered with the HVAC contract or with the home warranty. The paint and the carpet are in...soooooo hopefully this will be gone soon!

Hopefully we don't have any money pit reports....:)

I can't wait and I think my kids can tell. LOL. It's a fabulous hotel and yes the dogs are boarded, but I'm ready for a little less together time. Not much hot sex to be had or fantasized about, for that matter.

It's hot all over and I hope you guys are staying cool. I'm ready to set up my desk and enjoy my ocean view. Oh by the way...if I didn't already mention it..I have an ocean view from most windows of the house!

"You've arrived," the GPS said calmly. How dare she! This is no calm thing! We're here now! Time to begin life again, as we know it, is not a calm thing.

Ok...so we're here. LOL...you should have seen us in the hotel last night. One queen, one pull out...oh and a chair. Let's see...2 parents, 3 wild kids...oh and two dogs. LOL! That's what happens when you move to a tourist destination and your house isn't ready for a week...oh and you don't want to spend 400/night at the residence inn...too funny.

So, i'm getting ready to venture out. The hubby is taking the dogs to the kennel as I type. I'm sipping some coffee(not as good as mine...i am craving a good cup!)

Ok I have the camera ready for picks..and I'm getting ready to take the oldest princess out with to explore!!!!!!

Finally!!!! It's The Day!!!!!

Move Day! It's finally here!

We're getting packed up and moving. Finally. The house hasn't sold, but after the 15K we're putting into paint and new carpet..lol..i'm sure it will and so is our realtor. Lovely...huh?

Sooooo I'll take pictures along the way and keep you sweeties updated.

Yes...I'm excited! How could I not be?! My house will be on the ocean! I can have coffee in my sunroom and watch the water. I can enjoy the hardwoods in my old home and imagine all the families that went through the same military life that we are going through.

Crazy...I know. I'm watching CNN, though and taking in the Marines getting the Americans out of Lebanon. We need Marines. So, I take this life as giving back to this country that has given me a fabulous life. I'm getting a little mooshy, but it's true.

We all know I'm probably one of the most liberal military wives, but I must say...this military wife thing..has given me quite a nice life. We move...yes, but my husband has a great job. We're not together all the time, but I have a nice home to share with my family. It's dangerous, but life can be scary. Soooooo here it is..I'm feeling less in the complaining mood and more in the grateful mood.

Plus...I have you wonderful ones.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD!!!!!!!!

JACOB "MUDGE" HAS ARRIVED! Melandie and her hubby have called him Mudge the entire pregancy. Well, Mudge has arrived.

It was a horrible labor of 20 hours!!!!! They wouldn't let Melanie have anything for the pain, because of our bleeding disaster (our proof we really are royalty..lol!) She's such a brave girl. She ended up having a C-Section...and at 6:28 last night our Sweet Baby Jake was born. Isn't he just the sweetest. I'm officially
Ti Ti Christie! WE say ti ti instead...aunty..lol. When my first was a baby she couldn't aunty..she she'd say Ti Ti. It's stuck...what can I say.

Mommy and Baby are healthy, fine, and happy!

Baby Watch!!!!!

My sweet beautiful sister is in the hospital! She's soooooo ready for the baby. She and her hubby have nicknamed him "Mudge" but his name is Jacob. Little baby Jake!

I can't wait to see him. Sooooo today is baby day! She's being induced. She went in at midnight and had the first pill inserted. I haven't talked to her! She's two hours behind me...and I can't wait!

Buy This House Already!!!! Please.....

"I'm sorry, but $214,000 might still be a little overpriced." WTF??!!!!!

That's right friends, in Nashville 214...is considered a little overpriced. Our last house we sold for a few hundred thousand more than that. SOOOOOO we have yet again dropped it in price by 5K, thrown in 2K for new flooring...oh and a $500 bonus to a realtor who can get us a contract before the end of July!

Oh did I mention we're moving two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Life just comes at you..and it's ok if you can learn to roll with it. I'm rolling..lol.

Isn't This My Blog???!!!!

Here's the scoop. The reason for my lack of blogging, isn't because of lack of things to share. No. It's because I'm read by the "inner circle!"

It shouldn't matter, should it? I should be able to just say what it is I want to say..but It isn't is such a free feeling. So here I am, working towards that freeing feeling. I've hidden the archives. I'm being less personal with names...hmmm oh and that's right...no talking about faking the Os with sex. LOL. Not that I do..!!!! LOL. Oh who cares...we've all faked once in our lives right?!

Today is another open house day for the house. No offers, yet...but maybe one is around the corner. We're moving soon, before the end of July. I just want an offer and to be in Escrow. Not much to ask for is it?

Anywhoo....I'm blogging again. I just have the few ground rules and therefore I won't have to hear how mean I am.

Moving Moving...

Wow...the move is really coming up soon. I even got a new cell phone number. I wish we'd get an offer on the house quickly, but it's going to happen. I has to.

Anyway...I don't really have much more except for ....

My oldest broke her arm and had to have surgery to fix it. Not to worry she asked for a HOT PINK cast and she got it. LOL.

If we had one more Barbie or Polly in this house we could open our own store.

Oh...and did I mention what a pain in the ass it is to keep the house "perfect" and show ready while we're selling it. LOL.

Hope you all had a fabulous 4th! We lit some little flowers, fountains and worm fireworks. We all also threw in a few sparklers for the kids. It made for a great day.
