I DON'T GET IT!

Here's my boy and his self portrait. LOL. Ok, back to my confusion. How is it that 5 year olds can be on "hardcore" soccer teams? I'm at a loss. My husband tells me I'm easy on the whole competitive thing. Shouldn't they just have fun? They're sooooo serious about soccer here for the 5 year olds. There are some little kicking machines out there. They're going to win, ball hog, slide and steal from their own team. I'm getting used to this whole mom of a boy thing. (5 years in) He doesn't know what to make of the whole mean team thing. I was proud of him, though..he told one boy he wasn't sharing. LOL. Oh well..I know...I'm stressing the small stuff. Oh and if I didn't make this clear...my boy is soooo far from being a wuss. He's a tough little dude. I just wasn't expecting this kind of team.

At least he's not like his oldest sister. I remember when she was 5 and was playing. She stood near the goal during games singing Britney Spears songs, along with some cute little moves. Needless to say, she didn't make it many years with the fall madness..lol.

So, today's the princess's day to begin with her new team. She is so not like me...she won't take crap from the boys on her team...so they better be nice..lol. Yes....Co-Ed Teams.

Finally...SOMEONE BUY MY HOUSE! It's a great deal, gorgeous, great schools, great investment property..lol...New Carpet, New Pain, New Air Conditioner....hmmmm yep we're basically giving it away. LOL.

That's about all I have. Me stressing about small stuff and the house. SO, I guess life is pretty good. :)

He is soooo cute!!
So you're a soccer Momma huh? I think I am going to end up being one too, Em loves to play ball and I think it's right up her alley. We got a couple of years to wait though!

I sooooo have sympathy for you and the whole soccer thing! Both my boys are in it...well, the season hasn't started just yet here, but soon, very, very soon. Going to be hard to have both of them in it too with Jeff living in a different state. Looks like Momma is going to be stretching herself a little thin. I just Pray that practices are on different days!
Hope your house sells soon!!!

I'm amazed how competitive the kids' sports become at such an early age. Crazy.

Man, I hear ya on the house. Just make sure your idiot real estate agent doesn't hire a lawn service to mow after a big rainstorm 'cause that's likely to break your septic line and then you'll have to pay $7K to put a new one in for the new owner.

I'm just saying, it can happen.

O he look so cute in that pic!

I remember the days when my 5 year old daughter used to pick dandelions on the field instead of playing the game. LOL

They can be cute at that age playing though, like a swarm of bees chasing the ball around!

CUTE! My son was four his one and only time at soccer. He passed it to ANYONE, even the other team. Your son and mine would get along famously.

Hope you sell your house soon, but glad you are enjoying life at the new one.

I'll call you later tonight after I get home. 8ish? Hopefully...
