Tuesday..another day...

Yes, my friends, I am a pain in the ass. I do realize this. I have been up and down these days, but that is life. With that being said, I've been a busy woman. I'm feeling pretty good and I hope you guys are, as well.

At this very second I'm watching my boy get in and out of the Pack n Play. Yes..you read it correctly...pack and play. First of all, it's out because of Mocha. He's freaked out with the carpet cleaner and to keep him pain free while the finishing touches are being done. The house is going on the market this weekend. Sigh.

The house is looking good and I have made a huge decision. I am not going to buy a house in Virginia Beach. I'm tired. We'll only be there for 3 years....and the market there is getting ready to take a nose dive. So, and I know Jewl will know what I'm talking about, I never thought I'd live in base housing again! I am, though! I'm actually happy about it, too. I'll be living in small little development. The York River and Chesapeake with be my backyard (literally) and we'll be right there on the ocean. I put two of the maybe houses we'll be living in.

Love them BOTH! Do they have on-line listings? I'd love to see more pics of them!

Christie, these homes are stunning. I can picture you already sitting in the kitchen, sipping coffee and looking out at the water. xoxo

MD..there is a link online, but just gives the specs. No more pics, but I'm going to see if they have more. I did fall in love with both. They've been renovated recently, have original hardwoods...with the Ocean in the backyard. Love it.

Base
Housing
Sucks

"Welcome to my shoebox that is as old as dirt, where my neighbors are white nosey trash, I have to live by stupid housing rules that regulate the length of my lawn, and I have to get "inspected" when I move..." Insert eye roll here.

I lived in base housing for like 7 years! I said...never again!

However, I must say...Navy housing is so much better than the Marine stuff you and I are used to.

Your NC housing sounds like Camp Pendleton.

It just sucked!
The houses I showed, though, don't look too bad. :)
