Woohooo...It's official. It's over! Santa and Mrs. Claus are done with their hard work and are totally being lazy today. Shopping? No f-ing Way! Who goes shopping after Christmas? I'm too shopped out. Happy...Content...and Lazy! That describes me perfectly.
Christmas was a total success. I can't even tell you how wonderful a day it was. We did miss our family..and it felt a little off because of that. It wonderful, though for the kids. They loved their gifts. Yep...Mrs. Claus really did quite a number with all that planning and list making. :)
Now, it's time for vacation planning. Hot Damn! I need a vacation. Get this...I slept in until 8:45 this morning! If you know anything about me, than you know that sleeping in until 7 is LATE! I woke up and it was 8:45. Kelsey made me coffee, the kids were good...and I think Ava only called me on the walkie talkie 3 times during the night to tell me she had a tummy ache. LOL! That's right. A walkie Talkie.
So the new thing is a throw back to the baby monitor! We got them walkie talkies for Christmas. So now instead of coming in to my room 3 times during the night...Ava baby can just beep me. "Mommy...Mommy.." That's what I wake up to. Much easier to keep her in bed than put her back in bed after she comes in and wakes us all up! LOL..just a little hint for you guys. It totally works!
I'm off to sip some more coffee out of my new starbucks mug. I love it! It keeps my coffee warm during the cold mornings. Mmmm love it.

Hey babe... I'm in Michigan but wanted to say hi. :) Miss the more daily chatting. Sigh. Glad you had a great xmas. What a great idea with the walkie talkies!! I will pass that on to my inlaws. Hope it will score you more sleep. Maybe by and by as they learn to stay in bed, they will stop calling so much too.

I slept for 11 hours from last night to today. Sad part is I'm still tired, and I didn't even party that much! I had a good gift like taht once, and travel mug that was also a free one year supply of coffee from a bagel/coffee shop around here. Made the mornings much easier :O) Happy Holidays!

I hear that shopping after christmas just sucks, much like shopping after thanksgiving but without getting trampled
I wish we all were together on Christmas. I miss everyone so much, if I had known how much a coffee mug made you happy I would have gotten you one.

I'm glad it's over too! You talk of those after x-mas shoppers??? Yes, I was one of those...but I got some great deals in bath & body, I must say! LOL But lazy, I feel it too. I didn't get out of bed yesterday until almost 4 o'clock. It was great! The walkie talkies sound like a major improvement to actually getting up in the middle of the night...Mr. and Mrs. Claus certainly know what they are doing!
